Allow Me to Introduce Myself!
Hello, everyone! This is Laura, and this is my first blog on this site despite having had this account on here for at least a year and a half if not longer. I’m a nail tech and improviser among other things that I’ll share with you all in a minute.
I can proudly say that I had the opportunity this past Sunday to participate in IX Productions’ comedy The Way it Goes as an extra. That was my very first time partaking in this kind of thing, but still, it was very interesting, exciting, and it was good fun. I’ll also share more of that experience later on.
But for right now, let’s stick to introductions! I’m an aspiring singer, filmmaker, artist, and writer even though I question my ability to do those right and do them well. I also wanna sing pop, soul, and RnB with a group. I also have an improv team called the LuvBears whose story I’ll tell another time in a later blog though they do hold a strong sentimental value.
I also wish for vocal lessons and have a general path on whom I wish to learn from, but it’s not just one. I need to recover the control I once had if I ever had any at all, of the falsetto/whistle notes. They would come out so loud and unclean that it would sound like, as someone close to me put it, nails on a chalkboard. Not to most people, though, but Nala, my cat would look at me like I’m nuts. But surely, getting less loud about them, but I gotta get back on track with the exercises meant for such registers.
OK, enough for now! It’s getting late!

Good night, and see you all real soon!
Love y’all!
Laura.
