Well, friends, the @animaldoctorwestside folks took x-rays of me today. It looks like I have an enlarged heart and a little bit of fluid in my lungs. That means this old gal will start taking a blood thinner and a diuretic. That’s no fun. On the upside, they said that my bloodwork was amazing. They even said my ears were fabulous! I may be getting older, but I’m still going to live the best life I can. I’ll still yell at squirrels, stick my head out the car window, beg for food/attention, and introduce myself at anyone willing to pet me! When I was rescued in October 2007, I was really skinny. After a couple of days at my foster’s home, I got really sick and was rushed to @kstatevetmed. They examined me and diagnosed me with histoplasmosis. I had to stay there for a while. I had tubes running up my sniffer and I didn’t like it! Oh well, it helped me start feeling better, but I was under medical supervision for the next 6 months! I must have needed it.
