My husband and I came home from the grocery store last night to our very happy dog (as is typical) but last nights reunion (I mean it had been 2 hrs) caused him to split the tip of his tail while wagging and slapping it into every piece of furniture and every wall. Today is a big day at Hands of Spirit! Not only do we have our Etsy Shop Update this evening, but our new furbaby arrived late last night. As some of you know, I am heavily involved in rescue work in Florida. This kitty has been at the rescue 7 yrs. She has not been adoptable due to the issues with her skin as you can see. She had a home visit from my amazing vet this morning. She is in rough shape but we are doing all we can to ease her discomfort and heal the issues going on. She is a huge love bug and very friendly. I was able to pick her up right away. My pitch is to remember the small rescues. They get overloaded with so much and a $5 donations makes a world of difference. The money is spent 100% on the animals rather than administrative costs. Consider helping an animal in need today. You can donate, foster, volunteer, pledge, tag and share posts. It all makes a difference. Remember Coco? He is now Jack and Mom Lia says he has been doing really good. “We've worked with him a lot and he's much more social and comfortable with everything. We can pick him up and he sleeps with us in bed every night. He likes to cuddle with us on the couch as long as his dog bed is next to us but were working on getting him more comfortable with sitting on our laps. He loves his walks and exploring new areas. He’s really come out of his shell and has a completely different attitude than when we first got him.
