I think the biggest challenge when it comes to character creation — other than not reusing armor pieces — is inventing a name. ಥ_ಥ

It's truly a conundrum for the ages. One that I often fail — and then overcome by typing the name out like it's a tragedeigh instead.... :'D

These are the newer characters so they don't have as expansive of backstory yet, haha. I was mostly concerned about making interesting designs and having the armor pieces all fit together well (〃＞＿＜;〃)

New year new reshade mod, right? Either way he's really pretty and I wish I could design a dragon form worthy of that (╥﹏╥)

New design!!! I finally got down how I want Kaonn's fully corrupted form to look >:D!

This is what happens when your jungle dragon dad decides that looking like a Sylvari is unbefitting of the Commander and takes matters into his own hands — as such, by the time PoF rolls around, Balthazar has a much bigger problem (literally)

"Aurene... I could never hate you. Your work is no less important. Think of it instead like teamwork—we're just splitting the load on a shared project."

"You should know by now that I'm always right."

So. New horizons, right? One thing Kaonn disagrees with (and likely always will) is Glint's path for Aurene—how she alone must handle a magnitude of magic that six far older and more powerful dragons prior failed to contain. He understands why she has to go, but damn if he regrets being unable to save her from it.

With that established, what is to say that one cannot ascend from dragon champion to elder dragon? Kaonn's always been good doing the impossible. If Aurene, his daughter in all but name, has to endure an eternity of this, then let it not be an eternity alone.

So that is where he stands as Secrets of the Obscure opens.
