･ﾟ✧  OUR SUMMER CLEANSE HAS BEEN FINISHED !

KAOSHQ is a modern day greek gods skeleton rp, set in the fictional island of kaos, greece. the group is centered around the habitants of the island, loosely based on greek myth figures and their return to this modern olympia. will this be just like any another summer holiday? one thing’s for sure, there’s always drama when the gods are around. 

thank you for your patience, our main is now looking fresh and beautiful and we are so very excited to show you !!

please take a look at our plot and guidelines, there has been some changes to better suit our group. if you agree with these changes, please resubmit the app blurb for your character(s), there was a little change there too. and the password you will find in the rules. this will also help us gauge who is still here with us after our little revamp.

after submitting your app and rules password, we will be sending you a link to join our new discord server. we are starting fresh over there too !!

finally, we will be posting unfollows to the characters whose muns we haven’t heard from on wednesday. we are respecting the current hiatus on our list, so those will have until their end of their respective hiatus to come active.

a new event will be dropped on wednesday evening to get into the flow of things again, but if you want to do threads in the meantime, feel free to do so !!

when i first got the idea for kaos, a whole ass year ago, i was so so excited i just couldn’t go to sleep. i literally stayed up until 9am the next day conceiving the group and trying to come up with the feel i was going for. i don’t know what got into me, but i was just so excited, so filled with muse and a vision of the group i wanted to create.

i never thought the group would last for as long as it actually did. i didn’t even think it’d get the attention it did back then, but as tiring as it all was, i was filled with happiness to see so many people were as excited with my idea as i was. and so kaos opened. and i had a little plan, a monthly plan of tasks, events, plot drops. i was determined to make it last longer than one month. that was my goal. everything after that, everything would have been a blessing.

the main dropped on july 5th last year, and ten days later, we were open for interactions. it was such a ride. i never ever thought i’d be saying goodbye to the group almost one year after it opened. it was a great year, if i say so myself. and it was all thanks to every single one of you who brought your beautiful characters and your wonderful writing here.

but i also feel like the group has run its course. it breaks my heart. i thought about this the whole weekend, i was feeling physically sad while coming to terms with the decision. but it’s for the best. kaos has come full circle, it was given everything it was meant to give. and now, it’s time for me, for us, and for our characters to move on to new, fresh and exciting things.

thank you to everyone that throughout this year has shared their time and energy with us and with the group. thank you to my co admins, bren and sea, you both have my heart and i will miss you infinitely. but also, thank you to all the others who helped along the way, co admins and friends, who were always there when i needed a second opinion on something or when i just needed to vent. after all, this was the first time i ever fully admined a group and a lot of the time, i was just figuring it out as i go.

thank you to all of you, for everything. i will miss you loads but i wish you all the love, health and light in the world. and i really hope we get to write again soon !

now it’s time for ONE LAST TASK. feel free to share it or just keep it to yourself, but i’d like you to imagine where you think your character will go now, moving forward. where do you think they’ll be next year? and in ten years time? are they happy? successful? i hope the answers bring a smile to your face.

we believe it is quite a simple rule and also quite an easy rule to follow. however, during our summer cleanse, it was brought to our attention that not everyone here had been complying with it. this is a very important matter so we didn't want to just sweep it under the rug, hence we are making this post. moving forward, please remember: 

- if you have any issues, small or big, regarding any member or aspect of our group, please only ask or bring the problem to one of the admins and we will sort it out, together. please, help us help you.

- DO NOT send anonymous hate messages in an attempt to deal with a problem yourself. not only is this a violation of our guideline, it is extremely childish and counterproductive.

- if you are found to be behaving as such, you will be asked to leave the group immediately, without warning.

❊ we implore that you are only decent and you treat others kindly and with respect. we strive to make this space fun and welcoming for everyone, please help us do so. ❊

our newest skeletons are all ready for you to check out !! we hope you like them !! and we hope you apply for them !! we def can’t wait to see them being brought to life !!

now a few important things to keep in mind:

– applications for the new skeletons can be submitted from this very moment. because we have an event dropping on saturday, we’ll have a lil’ acceptance on friday if there’s any apps on our inbox, so we can have the new characters join in time for the event. – we also took the decision to re-open hestia. this definitely does not mean an erasure of vera and floros soi. the restaurant is still a location in our island and pretty much everything stays as it was. – we’ve reached a new total of 45 skeletons and our mun cap remains at 40. – current members can also apply for any of the skeletons, new or old, as a second character. but keep in mind that no more than two skeletons per mun will allowed.

OUR SUMMER CLEANSE IS ABOUT TO START !!

my adored bren, darling sea and i will be working on revamping the main for this week, which means, we’ll be cleaning up pages and updating others. we’ve been open for almost a year, A WHOLE YEAR, can you believe ?! so we are sure it’s a good time to dust off the house and get it ready for summer !! i’m bad at metaphors, sowwy.

so for the rest of the week, our main will be “closed”, which means, no acceptances, activity checks or posts of any other kind. but please feel free to continue your threads as we will be going back to regular activity checks on june 1st. 

and we’ll be kicking off our revamped main with a new event !!

you can find our in character voting and yearbook on the link above !! the survey has two parts: prom king and queen and the yearbook.

for our prom queen and king your characters can vote for whoever they’d like, regardless of their gender, we just ask that you don’t vote for the same person on both categories. our prom royals will be announced one day before our event ends so hopefully you can include it on any last minute starters.

for our yearbook, you will find the names of all our characters besides a lil box where you can give each muse a yearbook superlative. some ideas can be found on the following links: one, two, three. i am aware that this bit is a bit long since we’ve got exactly 30 characters, but hopefully, you’ll find the time to fill it all. or just do some of them. as you prefer. we also enabled the edit after submit if you’d like to comeback to it later. finally, we also will make lil’ graphics for each character announcing the superlatives they got, as if they receive “a card from their classmates,” on the @kaosinspo blog, probably 24hrs after the event ends. we’ll let you know here on the main.

this is how our wanted connections will work:

if you send a wc, please make sure it’s different from the connections already planned out for your skeleton. also, the skeleton filling the wanted connection can’t be from the already established connections for your skeleton. basically, so we don’t overlap connections.

other than that, our wanted connections work as pretty much in any other rp. if you’d like any specific connection for your character, no matter the deity, please fill up the form on our wanted connections page and send it our way.
