Great Gold Serpent Poloz in the myths of the peoples of the Urals is the lord of natural gold. He can appear to people in the guise of a noble person in golden clothes, he decides to whom to show the natural gold deposit, and whom to drive him crazy. He does not like lies and human crime for the sake of gold. He can remove all the gold from the deposit at will and vice versa.
