i know i’m late with this analysis but hear me out

i finished merlin around 2 months ago and the only thing that stood out to me after arthur’s death was:

what happened to camelot?

like, we know gwen rules camelot herself with sir leon and gaius. we know she’s an awesome queen and will rule camelot fairly. but my question is did gwen declare magic legal after the war or did it take some time? who will take over camelot’s throne after gwen’s death? and the most important of them all

did merlin ever return to camelot?
