I had only seen the cropped version not the original picture! Jonesy and his wife were also there! And look how Robert zeroed in on the photographer, while everyone else is not even aware. Another observation is that Karac was a big boy- tall for his age. If he would've survived, he would have probably been as tall as Robert (seeing that he was only 5)...Sadly, he would succumb to a virus shortly after this picture was taken in 1977.

A song written by Robert Plant and John Paul Jones after the death of Plant's 4 year old son, Karac Pendragon Plant, from what sounds like by all accounts I have read,  peritonitis, after having suffered from some sort of stomach virus that went into the deadly infection. Plant sang and recorded the song in one take, as he was truly singing from the depths of his pain, and his very soul.

reading about how robert plants son, karac died when he was 6 and i just started crying. what a beautiful child.
