10 Facts about Andreas "TIX" Haukeland from Norway:
article from wiwiblogs
01: International song writer:
As well as being a performer in his own right, TIX is also an established songwriter for other artists. Most famously, he was part of the team behind American singer Ava Max’s hit 2018 single “Sweet But Psycho”. TIX also co-wrote Flo Rida’s sporty 2017 single “Game Time”.
02: Tourette syndrome:
Otherwise known as Andreas Haukeland, TIX has been open about having Tourette syndrome and OCD. His stage name comes from a childhood nickname that referenced the involuntary tic movements he experiences as part of Tourette syndrome. It’s also why he wears his trademark sunglasses — to help disguise the tic movements he sometimes experiences with his eyes. Being open about his Tourette syndrome and OCD has also been helpful for his fans dealing with similar issues. TIX said, “Even if I only get one message from a parent saying their child is doing better because of me, I know I’m doing something right.”
03: Party Music:
Anyone who has seen the hit Norwegian teen drama series SKAM will know about Norway’s Russ party culture. TIX got his start in the mid-2010s making music that would be the soundtrack to wild Russ parties. His debut single was the controversial “SJEIKEN 2015”, which sang the dubious praises of drinking heavily and shagging. However, TIX has since reflected a lot on his Russ phase and said he accepts that, in retrospect, he should have “used other words and phrases” in the songs. He also accepts his position as someone with influence, and said “I am now in a position where I can do a lot of good for people through my music and message – that is what I intend to focus on in the future.”
04: Paradise Hotel:
In 2019, TIX was a VIP participant in the Norwegian edition of the popular reality romance show Paradise Hotel. He also penned the theme song for that year’s series. The song, “Kaller på deg”, was a hit in Norway and reached No.1 in the singles chart.
05: Four Number One Singles:
TIX hit No.1 in the Norwegian singles chart in 2019 with his debut solo single “Jeg vil ikke leve” (I don't wanna live). He has also had No.1 singles with his Paradise Hotel song “Kaller på deg” (Calling for you), his lockdown “Karantene” (Qurantine) and the Norwegian version of his eurovision 2021 song "Ut av mørket" (Fallen Angel).
06: Mental Health Issues:
TIX openly talks about the mental health issues he has faced in recent years. He has spoken about feeling isolated and anxious while hiding behind the confident rock star persona of TIX. But he is determined to no longer hide, being more open in both his music and his public life. TIX recently said, “I made it my mission that instead of trying to fit in, I would put mental health on the agenda”. In turn, TIX has been praised by Norwegian mental health experts for speaking out about his issues.
07: Lucky Dice:
Viewers may have spotted the giant golden dice TIX wore at the grand final of Melodi Grand Prix. All sides of the dice showed a single dot. This was a reference to the reaction towards TIX from Norwegian music reviewers who had rated “Fallen Angel” only one out of six dice. One reviewer even declared he would “eat TIX’s headband” if the song won MGP. TIX turned the low rating into a piece of bling that brought him good luck. After TIX won Melodi Grand Prix, the critic who bashed him was forced to eat a trademark TIX headband live on TV.
08: Most Streamed artist in Norway 2020:
TIX’s music is super popular in Norway. Last year he was the most-streamed artist in Norway, proving more popular than international pop icons such as The Weeknd, Juice WRLD, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Eminem, and fellow Norwegian stars Kygo, Alan Walker and Astrid S. Even Ava Max couldn’t beat the might of TIX!
09: Norwegian Idol:
Last year, TIX put his expertise as a hitmaker to work and joined the judges’ panel on the Norwegian version of Idol. Sitting alongside Tshawe Baqwa of Madcon and music journalist Silje Larsen Borgan, TIX helped mentor the acts competing in the 11th edition of the popular talent show.
10: Artist of the Year 2020:
In 2021 TIX won The Norwegian Grammy Artist of the Year 2020. After years of work in headwinds among critics, TIX from Norway has been widely praised for his efforts as an artist. His two songs "Karantene" (Qurantine) and his Paradise Hotel song “Kaller på deg” (Calling for you) was nominated for song of the year, and his songs had been streamed more than 70 million times in 2020, making him the most played musician in Norway.

Part II under the cut
For the next few days both Anna and Kristoff were able to manage the farm on their own. From Kristoff fixing up the barn to Anna rewashing all of their linens. “It’ll prevent the sickness from getting to us.” Anna would always tell her husband whenever she was hanging up their linens on the line.
“Sure thing feistypants.” her husband would reply back.
“Maybe when the sickness passes through,” Anna continued while she was finishing up with their laundry, “we can invite the Wilder’s over.”
“Alright.” her husband replies as he made his way to her.
“And maybe I can show Laura Mary’s new bonnet.” Anna smiles proudly, making her husband chuckle.
“Mary has a new bonnet?”
“Why yes she does.” Anna rolls her eyes playfully as she grabbed the basket with little Mary in it.
“Well then great.” her husband had coughed while they both were heading on back into their home. “Guess she’ll like it then.”
“Kristoff,” Anna gave her husband a concerned look, “are you alright?”
“I’ll be fine.” her husband replies back. “Just need to rest.”
“Rest then,” Anna began as she was making her way around their home, “you’ve been at it with that barn all day.”
“Thank you, dear.” her husband coughs out as he mad his way to their bed.
“You’re welcome.” Anna smiles while she was preparing their supper.
“Now your father would just love to have some of that pie again.” she whispered to little Mary as she was starting up their supper. “Well that can wait. He needs to eat something much more healthier than that.”
A simple giggle from Mary was all that Anna could get.
“But according to your father,” Anna smiles back at the little angel as she began to chop up some vegetables, “a pie would be considered healthy.”
A tiny hand had reached out for her mother’s attention.
“Now you little one,” Anna lets out with a coo, “Mama’s gonna make sure that you eat healthy so you can be strong just like your papa.”
A happy clap from Mary was her response.
“Soon you’ll love my cooking.” Anna whispers while she was lightly seasoning the vegetables with some salt. “Just like how your papa does.”
A small coo was all that Anna could hear from little Mary.
“Well now, I’d best get back to my cooking then.” Anna continues as she was making her rounds for their supper. “Lord knows how much your father would like to eat, tonight.”
For the rest of the night, Anna had managed to cook the supper and care for their daughter. Normally Anna would have Kristoff watch over Mary while she was cooking, but he seemed to more tired than ever. Maybe he was really tired. she thought as she watched her husband sleep that night. I mean he did work really hard on the barn these past few days. After she was finally able to gather her thoughts, she was soon able fall fast asleep, not knowing what may lay ahead.

The next morning
Ah what a beautiful morning. Anna thought as she slowly was lifting herself from her side of the bed.
“Good morning Kristoff.” Anna whispers to her husband.
A long groan was all that she got from her husband.
“Kristoff?” Anna lets out with a shaky breath, as she felt her husband’s forehead and cheeks. “You’re burning up with fever!”
“Anna” her husband lets out with a hoarse cough. “Anna.”
Oh no! Anna had thought. Above all people, please God not him!
Her heart sank at the thought of her husband being sick as she quickly got out of bed. “I’ve got to get the doctor!” she whispered while she was fixing up her hair into a messy bun.
“Kristoff needs to get better.” she whispers while she was dressing up their little girl. “He has to get better.”
“Anna.” her husband croaks out just before Anna had left.
“I’ll be back Kristoff with Dr. Ingalls,” she shouts back as she raced on out the door, “or Dr. Baker which ever one will be, my love!”
Now where could they be? Anna had thought while she was able to see a familiar face on down the road.
“Dr. Baker! Dr. Baker!” Anna had called out in hopes for a reply from the buggy down the road. “Please hurry!”
“What is it Anna?” the old doctor had replied back as he stopped his buggy in front of her.
“It’s my husband,” Anna answers with a scared look her face, “he’s fallen ill.”
“With fever and chills?” the doctor replies back.
“Yes.” she answers while she was rocking her little Mary in her arms.
“Well we’d better get going then.” Dr, Baker sighs in defeat as he quickly got on out of his buggy. “Dr. Ingalls has already set up the church as a hospital for the sick.”
“Oh dear.” Anna whispers as she held her daughter close to her heart.
“Now Anna,” the doctor continues, “I’ll be needing you to ride him on into town.”
“Yes Dr. Baker.” Ana answers. “Right this way.”
“Thank you, Anna.” the old doctor responds as they both had made their way into the home. “Why hello Kristoff.”
“Hey Doc.” Kristoff lets out with a croak, making Anna tear up a bit.
“Now Kristoff,” the doctor smiles while he was examining Kristoff, “how do you feel?”
“Burning up, sweaty.” Kristoff had answered while he was coughing away.
“I see.” the doctor continues as he was finishing up with his examination. “Anna...”
“Yes doctor?” Anna gave the doctor a concerned look.
“Help me get him into the wagon.” the doctor states.
“Yes.” Anna nods in agreement as she began to help get her husband on up from bed.
A simple little cry from Mary had caused Anna to stop.
“Oh Mary,” Anna sighs in defeat, while she was helping Kristoff on to one of the doctor’s shoulders, “don’t you fret, now. Papa’s going to be alright.”
“Anna,” the doctor huffs just before him and Kristoff had left the door, “take care of her here. She’ll be needing you.”
“And my husband needs me too.” Anna replies back as she held Mary close to her chest. “I’m going with you.”
“No you’re not.”
“Yes I am.” Anna insists. “I’ll send word for my sister Elsa from Mankato to come out and take care of her. By telegram.”
“Anna.” the doctor continues.
“He’s my husband.” Anna counter backs with such insistence in her voice. “They’re my family.”
“Alright,” the doctor began while he was hitching up the team, “I tell you what I’ll send word to Elsa in Mankato. Then when she gets here, you can care for your husband at the church.”
“That seems fair to me.” Anna nods in agreement. “She works in the telegram office there. So she’ll be here within the day, the moment she gets it.”
“Alright.” the doctor sighs in defeat as he got up on to the wagon. “Now take care of that little one for now.”
“Will do.” Anna had answered just before the doctor had left. “See you the day after tomorrow Kristoff.”
“Anna.” was all that her husband could whisper as Anna watched her husband be carried away.
“Oh Kristoff.” she whispered with her heart tearing at the seams. “Please be well, my love.”

A week later
“There, there.” Anna had whispered while she was wiping away the sweat from the little girl’s forehead. “Easy child, your mother will be back soon.”
“Alright.” the little girl croaks. “May I have some water Mrs. Bjorgman.”
“Why yes, Elizabeth.” Anna answers as she poured some water into a small tin cup. “Here.”
“Thank you.” Elizabeth whispers just before she had closed her eyes.
“You’re welcome.” Anna replies back as she got up from the makeshift pallets on the church floor. “Now you rest easy.”
“Yes ma’am.”
“Anna.” Dr. Ingalls had called out for her.
“Yes Dr. Ingalls.” she answers as she made her way to the front of the church room.
“Are you alright?” he asks her.
“Just a little tired, but I’ll manage.” Anna answers as a matter of factually. “I should go on and check on Kristoff.”
“You go on and do that.” the doctor nods in agreement while Anna was making her way to her husband.
“Anna,” her husband whispers just as Anna placed a cool cloth on his forehead, “feistypants.”
“Yes.” Anna cooed while she was wiping away the sweat from her husband’s brow, “I’m here. Now you rest dear.”
“Anna,” her husband lets out with a hoarse cough, “shouldn’t you be with Mary?”
“Mary’s with Elsa.” she answers with a sigh. “Remember I told you. Elsa is here to care for Mary, so I can take care of you.”
“But...”
“No but’s.” Anna had insisted. “Now you get some rest, I’ll be right here caring for you.”
“Anna...”
“Kristoff,” Anna continues as she placed the blanket covers up to her husband’s neck, “you need your rest. I’ll be back in a minute.”
Oh Lord. she thought while she was adjusting the shawl around her slender shoulders. When is this going to end?
Her heart was breaking at the thought of the sickness spreading, as she watched one of the doctors examine little Elizabeth. She knew that little Elizabeth wouldn’t live for much longer, yet she didn’t even want to say a word to the family. She felt worried sick over her dear husband, while she was changing the cloth with a fresh new one. You have to get better. she thought with tears pricking from her eyes. You just have to.
Her mind was screaming at the possibility of losing her husband, while her heart was telling her no. She couldn’t stand the idea of losing her husband. She knew that her husband would most likely at death’s door, yet her heart was telling her that there’s a glimmer of hope. A hope for her husband to recover and get back to their normal lives. Oh how I would love for him to come home soon. she thought just as she felt a slight touch on her shoulder.
“Anna.” a voice had whispered, followed by two small steps right next to her.
“Oh hi Laura.” Anna whispers back.
“How’s he doing?” Laura asks as she placed a hand on Anna’s shoulder.
“He’s fine,” Anna answers with tears streaming down her cheeks, “but I’m...”
“I know, I know.” Laura had sighed in defeat as she pulled Anna into a comforting embrace. “Shhh...”
Oh Laura,” Anna sobs uncontrollably, “I’ve never been through this before. I’ve never seen anyone so sick in my entire life.”
“Hey there,” her friend cooed, “this sickness will pass. Almanzo and Olaf should be back any day now with the medicine.”
“Oh right.” Anna nods in agreement. “How’s Jenny doing?”
“She’s alright,” Laura answers making Anna feel a little bit better, “just like your husband.”
“I’m just waiting for his fever to break.” Anna lets out with a smile through her tears. “That’s when I’ll know it’s over.”
“I understand.” Laura nods in agreement. “Same here for me.”
“Well all we can do is pray.” Anna began as she lets go of her friend. “Pray that this will pass. Pray that they’ll be here soon with the medicine.”
“And pray the sickness will go away.” Laura adds as she began to help Anna tend to Kristoff.
“Yes.” Anna had nodded in agreement as she continued on caring for her husband. “Now you go on and take care of Jenny.”
“Are you sure?”
“Well yes.” Anna whispers while she was wiping the sweat from her husband’s brow.
“Alright.” Laura lets out with a smile as began to care for her niece Jenny nearby. “I’m here for you if you need me.”
“Thank you.” Anna smiles back at her dear friend. “For everything.”
“You’re welcome.”
“Anna,” her husband lets out with a whisper, followed by a harsh cough, “water.”
“Here.” Anna whispers back as she poured a cup of cold water from the tin pot. “Now drink all of it, ya hear.”
“Yes.” was all that she could hear from her husband.
“Now you need to rest, Kristoff.” she continued. “Doctor’s orders.”
“Yes feistypants.” her husband replies back, making Anna feel much better.
I love you, Kristoff. she thought as she watched her husband fall fast asleep. Please get better.
(Author’s Note: So since I’m technically stuck at home because of whats going on in the world, I’ve decided to write a story set in the good ole prairie days. Of course this is loosely based on the TV series Little House on the Prairie episodes. To be more specific, it is based on the episodes where sickness was spreading throughout Walnut Grove. Anyways, feel free to sit and enjoy this story.)
Part I
It was a quiet afternoon down in the valley of the prairie. Everything had seemed so perfect to everyone within the outskirts of town. Anna Bjorgman didn’t seem to mind the quietness as she hung up all of the laundry by the line. In fact, she’d preferred it to be quiet especially during the day time. At least I’m able to get some work done around here. she thought as she placed the two wooden clips at each end of her husband’s long johns. Especially with this little one fast asleep.
Her heart had swelled up with joy as she glanced over her shoulder at her little angel, Mary, sleeping the afternoon away in her small basket close by.Their daughter was the perfect blessing for them this past spring. A blessing filled with nothing but hard work and happiness. Sure little Mary was a handful at times, but that didn’t matter to Anna and her husband, Kristoff.
A familiar voice echoing her name caused Anna to snap back into her reality. Kristoff’s home. she thought as she quickly snatched up her little one straight into her arms.
“Anna.” her husband calls out with great concern.
“Kristoff?” she questions her husband. “What’s wrong?”
“Just get inside.” he instructs her as he made his way into the barn. “I’ll be in a minute. Gotta put the horses away.”
“Alright dear.” Anna nods. “I’ll put the pot on for ya.”
“Don’t worry about it, Anna.” her husband replies just before she had entered into their home. “I’ll be in soon.”
Something’s not right. she thought as she held their little girl in her arms, rocking her gently.
Her heart was pounding at the thought of something terrible, as she sat down in the rocking chair. Maybe the crops have turned bad. she thought while she was rocking the little one to sleep. Or one of our neighbors have been hurt in an accident.
“Oh, hush now.” Anna whispers to little Mary as she removes the little one’s bonnet. “You need your sleep.”
“Anna.” a voice had whispered as she continued on rocking the little one.
“Yes Kristoff.” she answers with such a gaze into her husband’s eyes. “Is everything alright?”
“Well,” her husband began after he had placed his hat on the table, “I spoke to Mr. Oleson and he said that there’s a fever going around.”
“Oh no.” Anna’s eyes went wide as saucers. “Who’s sick?”
“The Hansens, the Nelsons,” Kristoff continues as he sat across from her, “and I think the Smiths.”
“Oh Kristoff,” Anna sighs in defeat, “did Dr. Ingalls say anything about it?”
“He said that in order to prevent the sickness from spreading,” he answers with a smile, “is that we should stay home for the time being.”
“Oh alright.” Anna smiles fondly at her husband as she got up with little Mary in her arms. “Well, I think that it’s time for her to sleep. Lord knows when she’ll wake up again.”
“Well knowing her mother,” Kristoff lets out with a chuckle, “she’ll be up in a few hours, begging for a meal or two.”
“Oh you.” Anna rolls her eyes playfully as she placed the little one into her wooden crib. “If she’s like her father, she may sleep the day away.”
“Ha ha.” her husband chuckles while he getting his pipe ready for a smoke.
“Kristoff,” Anna sighs in defeat at her dear husband, “you know that I don’t like it, especially since we have a baby in here.”
“I know feistypants.” her husband lets out with a puff of smoke.
“Kristoff.” Anna looks at him and then eyes the door.
“Yes Anna.” her husband responds as he got up and made his way out the door.
“Thank you.” she calls back in hopes that her husband had heard her.
Now I need to get supper started. Anna had thought while she was rolling her sleeves to her elbows. Her mind was reeling at the possibility of a fever spreading around town. Maybe the sickness will go away. she thought as she mixed the left over vegetables in the small bowl.
But for how long with the sickness stay? How long will the fever last? How many people are sick now with fever? Those were some of the questions that she had as she poured the mushed vegetables into the pot. At least this should help us for about two days. she thought as she watched the vegetables boil in the pot. He sure does love vegetable stew with some meat. Anna had smiled at the thought of the meat leftover from her husband’s recent hunting trip. The deer was sure a blessing in disguise for them. From the skin being used for warmth and clothing to the salted preserved meat being added to their meals. All of this being a blessing for us. she thought as she pulled the salted meat from the cupboard.
“Anna.” her husband calls out while she was placing the meat into the pot. “What’s for supper?”
“Vegetable stew with meat for the flavor.” she answers as she stirs the pot over the fire.
“Mmm,” Kristoff replies with a smile while he made his way back into the house, “smells good, then.”
“Well it’s your favorite.” Anna lets out with a giggle as she stood in front of the table.
“You know me too well, feistypants.” Kristoff smiles while he was placing his hands on her slender shoulders. “I’ll go and wash up.”
“You’d better.” Anna had answered as she watched her husband get himself ready for supper.
Later on that night
It was close to midnight when Anna had awoken to their little Mary’s cries. “Oh dear.” she whispers as she slowly got up from her side of their bed. “I guess it’s time for you to eat a little, huh?”
A simple whimper was the reply that she got.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” she smiles as she quickly adjusts herself to nurse. “There, there, shhh.... now we don’t want to wake your father, now do we?”
“I’m already awake Anna.” her husband whispers, making Anna smile.
“Well why didn’t you say anything?”
“Because I didn’t want to disturb you and Mary.” Kristoff answers as he slowly lifts himself up from the bed.
“Oh well I’m sure that she wouldn’t mind seeing her father.” Anna whispers while she was burping their little girl. “She loves her father, dearly.”
“And I’m sure she loves her mother, too.” her husband whispers as he held them both close. “Just as much as I love her.”
“Well..... I....” Anna’s heart had swelled up but then sank ever so fastly. “I’d better get her changed and back into her bed.”
“Anna,” Kristoff gave her a confused look as she got up from their bed, “are you....?”
“She needs to be changed.” she answers.
“Anna,” he continues, “are you...?”
“Just get some sleep.” Anna had interrupted him while she was changing little Mary’s cloth diaper. “I’ll be in soon.”
Something’s not right. he thought as he watched his wife take care of their little one. She’s not alright.
His heart sank at the thought of Anna being a bit sour over something. Maybe she’s thinking about what I told her earlier this evening. He knew that the news was pretty bad to tell her, yet he didn’t expect Anna to take it to heart. At least I told her the news. he thought while he was watching Anna place their little one in the crib at the edge of their bed.
“There,” Anna whispers while she was getting herself back into bed, “all clean and sound asleep.”
“Anna,” Kristoff whispers to his little wife, “I know what’s on your mind.”
“Oh.” Anna looks away from her husband.
“Look at me, Anna.” he gently places his hand on her cheek.
“Kristoff,” Anna whispers with her eyes ever so clear and blue, “I...”
“As long as I’m here,” Kristoff smiles as he wipes away her single tear, “nothing’s going to happen to us.”
“Are you sure?” Anna sighs in defeat, leaning into her husband’s embrace.
“I’m sure of it.” he replies as they hold each other close.
“I love you.” Anna whispers to her husband, just before she had fallen asleep.
“I love you too, feistypants.” Kristoff had smiled as he watched his wife fall fast asleep in his arms.
As long as I’m here. he thought just before sleep had over came him. Nothing’s going to happen to us.
(Author’s Note: Here’s the finale! I’m hoping to continue this storyline some time in the near future.)
Part I
Part II
Part III is under the cut
It was close to midnight when Anna was awoken by such a loud ruckus coming from outside the church. Now I wonder who could that be. she thought as she slowly got on up from her spot on the floor.
Her mind was reeling at the thought of another person coming in with the sickness. She knew that the sickness was spreading, yet her heart was telling her otherwise. Maybe it’s Almanzo and Olaf. she thought as she made her way to the sleeping doctors.
“Dr. Ingalls, Dr. Baker,” she whispered in hopes that one of them would wake up from their exhausted slumber, “somebody’s here.”
“Alright.” Dr. Baker lets out with a yawn as he arose from where he laid. Now let’s go see.”
“What about Albert, Dr. Baker?” Anna had asked while she was adjusting her shawl on her slender shoulders.
“He’ll be fine.” the doctor answers. “Let him sleep. He deserves it.”
“Oh.” she mouths just as they both heard the loud ruckus at the door again.
“That must be them.” Dr. Baker whispers, making Anna feel hopeful. “C’mon Anna.”
“Yes Doctor.” Anna nods in agreement as they both made their way to the doors of the church.
“Anna,” her friend began just as she awoken by the odd noises, “what’s going on?”
“They’re here, Laura.” Anna whispers with tears in her eyes. “Almanzo and Olaf are here!”
“Praise be.” Laura cries out as she quickly got up from her side by Jenny. “They’re home.”
Thank God!. Anna had thought while the doctor went on out to get the supplies. Now everyone will have a chance!
She smiled at the thought of everyone in the church getting better, as she watched Dr. Baker carry all of the medicine inside.
“Anna,” the doctor lets out with an exhausted look, “here’s the medicine. Now you and Laura must get some rest. I’ll take care of everything here.”
“Yes Doctor.” Laura answers as she helps guide Anna back to where Kristoff was. “Come Anna, let’s get some sleep.”
“Alright.” Anna lets out with a yawn. “Thank you, Laura.”
“You’re welcome Anna.” Laura whispers just as Anna went back down to Kristoff’s side.
“Anna.” Kristoff had whispered from his slumber.
“Kristoff.” Anna whispers back. “You need to rest.”
“I love you.” was all that she could hear just before her husband had fallen back to sleep.
“And I love you, too.” Anna had whispered back as she allowed sleep to over come her. “So much.”
_________________________
It was mid-morning by the time Kristoff’s fever had broken. Anna was so happy to see the fever gone that she could cry. Her heart was bursting at the seams as she got up to tell the doctors. Maybe he’ll come home soon. she thought as she made her way to Dr. Ingalls.
“Dr. Ingalls!” Anna had called out while the young doctor was examining another patient. “Dr. Ingalls!”
“Yes Mrs. Bjorgman?” Dr. Ingalls had answered.
“My husband,” Anna began with such happiness in her voice, “his fever broke.”
“What?” Dr. Ingalls gave her a confused look.
“C’mon Doctor.” Anna motions the doctor over to her husband. “Look he’s doing better.”
“His fever broke.” Dr. Ingalls whispers to Anna while he was examining Kristoff. “His color’s back. He seems to be resting now.”
“Thank God.” Anna lets out with a little cry. “He’s going to be alright.”
“Here,” Dr. Ingalls began as he hands over the medicine a cup of water to Anna, “have him continue on taking these until he’s fully recovered.”
“Thank you. Doctor.” Anna smiles as Dr. Ingalls got up and went on to attend to the other patients.
“Anna.” her husband whispers, making her cry a little. “I....”
“I know.” her husband smiles as his thumb gentle rubs up against her wedding ring. “As soon as I get better, I’m going to make it up to you Anna.”
“Oh no,” Anna giggles, “you don’t have to do that.”
“I do.” Kristoff smiles fondly up at her. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.” Anna smiles back at her husband. “Now in order to have you continue on getting better, you need to drink this.”
“Yes ma’am.” her husband smirks as Anna helped him with taking his water and medication.
“Now you need your rest.” Anna whispers just before she had gotten up from her spot right next to her husband. “I’ll be back soon.”
“Yes feistypants.”
Thank you God. Anna had thought as she slowly made her way on over to the entrance of the church. For everything.
Her heart was pounding at the thought of her husband coming home, as she stood at the entrance of the church. Maybe Mary will be happy to have her father home again. she thought with every tear flowing freely down her already flushed cheeks. I miss her so much.
Her mind was going crazy the thought of seeing Mary again, as she wiped away the tears away with her shawl. Oh she’ll be so happy to see us again. she thought with her hands holding each other at her heart. She must miss us so dearly.
“Anna,” Dr. Baker had called out, causing Anna to snap back in to her reality, “I saw your husband.”
“Oh.” Anna mouths to the old doctor.
“Yes.”
“Doctor,” Anna began with such concern in her voice, “have you ever seen sickness just like this? Were many people are so sick that they don’t know what to do?”
“Yes Anna.” the doctor had answered. “I’ve seen sickness way worse than this.”
“Oh.”
“But as time goes on,” he continues just before he had left Anna, “people will get better here.”
“You mean that the worse is over, Dr. Baker?” Anna had asked.
“The worst is over, Mrs. Bjorgman.” the doctor confirms, making Anna even more happy than she was before. “Now in just a few day, your husband and everyone else in here will soon be able to go home to their love ones.”
“Oh how wonderful.” Anna lets out wit ha smile as she made her way back to her husband.
“Anna,” Laura calls out just before Anna had sat back down right next to her husband, “did you hear the good news?”
“Why yes I did.” Anna had answered.
“Oh I’m so happy!” Laura lets out with glee as she hugged her dear friend. “I could cry!”
“Well I already did.” Anna jokes, making Laura laugh.
“What’s the good news, Aunt Laura?” Jenny lets out with a hoarse whisper.
“We’re going home in a few days.” Anna had answered for Laura, making Jenny smile. “The sickness is over.”
“Oh.” Jenny smiles, making both Anna and Laura smile even more. “I can’t wait to go home.”
“Me too.” Anna nods in agreement. “Me too.”
____________________________
After a few days of living in the church, both Anna and Kristoff couldn’t wait to head home. They knew that their little Mary would be anxiously waiting for them to come home. Maybe Elsa’s giving her a bottle. Anna had thought as she quickly adjusts her blue bonnet over her braided bun. Or giving her a bath.
Her heart was beating at the thought of coming home while she was waiting for her husband to come out of the church. She couldn’t wait to go home and see their little girl at home. Maybe she’s asleep in her wooden crib. she thought with every anxious minute counting towards their homecoming. Her smile is what I can’t wait to see.
“Anna,” a voice had interrupted her thoughts, causing Anna to snap out of her thoughts, “are you ready to go home?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be, Kristoff.” Anna gave her husband a loving look.
“Good,” her husband smirks as he takes her hand into his, “cause as much as I love going to church, I would much rather be at home with my girls.”
Anna looks up at her husband with tears in her eyes. “Oh Kristoff.”
“Oh Anna,” he smiles back at her while he was pulling her into a loving embrace, “oh Anna.”
“Kristoff,” Anna whispers through her tears, “lets go home.”
“Yes my feistypants.” Kristoff cooed as he guided her to their wagon.
“Kristoff,” Anna smiles fondly just before her husband had helped her get on to their wagon, “do you think that Mary will be happy to see us coming home?”
“Well I think so.” her husband chuckles as he got himself up on their wagon.
“Well I’m hoping that Mary was good to Elsa.” Anna had stated proudly. “Lord knows what Mary may do to her.”
“Haha I bet,” Kristoff laughs after he had flicked the reins, “but Mary is a good girl. Just like her mama.”
“Oh you.” Anna rolls her eyes playfully while she was holding on to her husband’s forearm.
“Well it’s true.” Kristoff jokes as he pulled her in for a side hug. “She’s just like you.”
“So as much as I would like to have you around,” Anna began as they continued on their way home, “but you still need to rest.”
“Anna.” her husband groans.
“It’s both my orders and the doctors’,too.” Anna had stated proudly.
“Alright feistypants.” Kristoff sighs in defeat, making Anna smiles even more. “I’ll get my rest then.”
“Say,” Kristoff continues, “don’t you think that Elsa is a great aunt to Mary?”
“Oh I think so.” Anna nods as a matter of factually. “I think that Elsa would do anything to care for our daughter.”
“I’d figure you would say that.” Kristoff nods in agreement as he flicks the reins.
“Well what else are you thinking about, Kristoff?” Anna had asked.
“I’m thinking that,” Kristoff began as he gave her a kiss on the cheek, “our little Mary is going to grow up to be a beautiful woman, just like her mama.”
“Oh honey.” Anna blushes while she was adjusting her blue bonnet.
“Yeah well,” he winks at her just before they had reached their home, “it’s true.”
“Oh I think you’re just saying that.” Anna gushes at her dear husband.
“But I mean it.” Kristoff winks at her. “Every word.”
Anna simply rolls her eyes at his words and actions.
Her heart was pounding at the thought of her husband being home, as they had stopped at the edge of their property. She was so elated to finally have her husband back. She knew that the road was hard for them, yet she couldn’t believe that he was alive and well. And he’s home, now. she thought as she took a side glance at her husband. That’s all that matters to me.
“Anna,” her husband had whispered, causing her to step back into her reality, “look.”
Her eyes were pricking with tears as she watched the scene that was unfolding right in front of her. Her sister Elsa was busy sprinkling the feed in the chicken coup, while little Mary was learning how to do the same. Anna’s smile grew as she watched her Mary gently hold the feed in her tiny hands.
“Looks like our daughter is helping out.” her husband casually remarks.
“Well considering the fact that she has yet to walk is also a good thing.” Anna replies back as they both watched Mary do her little crawl around. “However, she should have her hands cleaned up.”
“In which I’m sure that Elsa will take care of that.” her husband counters back as he flicked the reins.
“Oh you.” Anna rolls her eyes playfully while they were making their way towards their home.
“Howdy!” Kristoff calls out to Elsa as he slowed the team down.
“Anna! Kristoff!” Elsa smiles warmly, while she was heading on out of the coup with Mary in her arms. “You’re home!”
“Yes.” Kristoff replies as he got off the wagon. “Both doctors said it was alright for everyone to go home.”
“Oh good.” Elsa had stated proudly.
“Yes,” Anna adds as she held out her hand for her husband, “but I told Kristoff that he still needs his rest.”
“Really?” Elsa cocks an eyebrow at her younger sister.
“Yeah well,” Kristoff lets out with a huff as he helped Anna off the wagon, “she told me that I had to. Doctors’ orders.”
“Not surprising.” Elsa rolls her eyes while little Mary was scrambling to be held by her parents. “Oh alright Mary, here you go.”
“Oh Mary.” Anna lets out with a small cry as she held her little one close to her heart, “we’ve missed you so much.”
“How did she do?” Kristoff asks Elsa while they all were heading inside the house.
“She was a doll.” Elsa answers, making Kristoff smile. “Sure she did have her usual cries and tantrums, but she was wonderful.”
“Well that’s good.” Kristoff had nodded in agreement while Anna was too busy paying attention to their little angel.
“And don’t worry,” Elsa lets out with a slight cough, catching Anna a bit off guard, “I’ve kept the place clean and tidy.”
“Oh thank you.” Anna smiles fondly at her sister.
“That’s including boiling all of your linens, clothes, and sheets.” Elsa had added.
“Oh really?” Kristoff raises an eyebrow at his sister-in-law.
“Well thank you, Elsa.” Anna smiles warmly while she was holding on to her little Mary.
“You’re welcome.” Elsa nods at her dear sister.
“Well as much as I would love to stay out and catch up,” Kristoff says to his wife and sister-in-law, “but it’s getting late and I was told to be in bed by my wife and doctors.”
“Well alright then Kristoff,” Anna rolls her eyes playfully as she grabs her love’s hand for comfort, “let’s go inside and have some supper.”
“I’ve made some soup and bread.” Elsa adds while they were making their way into the home.
“Mmmm....” Anna’s mouth was watering while her and her husband were making themselves comfortable at their table. “This is wonderful.”
“How so?” Kristoff gave his wife a loving glance.
“Well for one,” Anna began as she held their little girl in her arms, “you’re home, and two, you’re alive.”
“Good,” Kristoff whispers just he gave her a kiss on the cheek, “because I love being at home with my two girls.”
“Aww.” Elsa smiles at the young couple as she stood at the edge of the table. You two look adorable together.”
“Well thanks, Elsa.” Kristoff smiles while Anna was busy taking care of their little Mary.
“You’re welcome, Kristoff.” Elsa had stated as she placed the pot right in the middle of the table. “Now lets dig in and eat.
“Yes ma’am.” Anna lets out with a giggle while they were eating the soup and bread away.

It was close to midnight when Anna was awoken by their little Mary across the way. Oh Mary. Anna had thought as she slowly got on up from her side of the bed. You must’ve had a nightmare.
A blood curling scream was the answer that she got while Anna was making her way to Mary’s bed.
Her heart was pouring out with such love as she slowly picked up the little Mary into her arms. “There, there.” Anna cooed with each pat and rock in her arms. “Mama’s here.”
A little whimper followed by such small baby tears from her little Mary.
“Oh see now,” Anna whispers as she rocked the little one in the old rocking chair, “Mama made it all better for you.”
The soft snores from little Mary was the answer that she wanted.
“I love you, my little Mary.” Anna whispers followed by a kiss on the little forehead.
“You’re amazing.” a voice had whispered, making Anna turn her head slightly towards the bedroom. “Just amazing.”
“Shouldn’t you be asleep, Kristoff?” Anna whispers as she slowly got up from the rocking chair.
“Yeah well,” her husband whispers back, “I heard that you were taking care of our little Mary.”
“Oh.” she mouths, making her husband smile.
“I love you, Anna.” Kristoff whispers as he held out his hand for her comfort.
“And I love you, too.” Anna gave her husband a loving glance, while she was holding their sleeping child in her arms. “Now, I need to....”
“Anna,” her husband stops her with a sincere whisper, “I love you so much.”
“Kristoff,” Anna whispers with her heart beating along with his, “I...”
“You’re strong, especially during the tough times,” Kristoff continues as he held them both close to his heart, “and I thank you for everything.”
“Oh Kristoff.” she whispers with her heart pouring out for him. “I wanted you to get better.”
“And you took very good care of me when I was sick, feistypants.” Kristoff smiles fondly at her. “Just like our vows.
“In sickness.” Anna began with a glowing smile on her tired face.
“And in health.” he finishes for her as he gently placed his rough hands on her delicate freckled face. “I love you.”
“And I love you.” Anna whispers just before their lips had sealed the deal.
Her love was pouring at the thought of her husband, as she was just finishing up with their perfect kiss. She couldn’t believe that her husband was finally home with her and their little child. After all we’ve been through. she thought as she and her husband were getting Mary back into her bed. He’s home and well.
She could hear her husband humming some sort of lullaby while they were rocking their baby in the crib. She smiled at the thought of her husband being a father just as they were settling themselves into their bed.
“Anna,” her husband whispers while he was brushing the strands of hair away from her tired eyes, “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.”
“I know.” Anna had yawned, causing her husband to pull her close to his chest. “I know...”
“Just sleep Anna.” her husband whispers calmly, making Anna feel right at home. “You need your rest.”
“Yes love.” Anna lets out with a yawn again, just before she had fallen asleep.
From that night on, Anna knew that her husband would always be home with her. For in sickness and in health, they would always be there for each other.
