I love practicing in a dojo that's not hyper focused on the competitive aspect like our love for karate is always put first and we really do learn to see it as an art that accompanies you in your life, it's the perfect recipe for a dojo that actually feels like a family

#and when you look at our club we are literally the ones with the most elderly people which says a lot imo #also during like summer camps we are literally known as the ones who everyone can join if tbey wanna have a good time #it's just ❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 i'm still soft about yesterday #karate stuff

i’m still so fucking hyped i’m dead tired but my head is also exploding from all the excitement so no naps for now

#i'm just so proud of the ones who participated aaaahhh <3 #like we're one of the smaller clubs and only 6 of them participated but they did SO well #we took home three first places two second places and a third place #despite the sheer incompetence of the jury #which was insane and also due to the fact that we had jury members from outside of the federation who didn't even try to follow the rules #i wanted to bite some heads off today #but at the end it was still amazing <3<3<3 #karate stuff
