Last movie you saw: Uh.... I honestly can’t remember. I’m not much of a movie person so I don’t spend my free time watching movies and I haven’t been to the movie theatre in months. Maybe The Martian? 

The last song you listened to: According to my phone it was “Combat Simulator Tier 1″ from the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC soundtrack. Sometimes I just like to chill to video game music while I’m driving. Usually I listen to audiobooks and podcasts.

Last show you watched: I’ve been binge-watching Kill la Kill over the past couple days but I feel like that shouldn’t count. The fiance and I recently finished watching Stranger Things and we’ve been slowly making our way through all of Star Trek: TNG, watching a couple episodes a week. We’re on season 5.

The last book you read: Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card

Last thing you ate: Korean fried chicken and kimchee from Crisp!

If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be: Back in California with my family. I only make it back every few years and it’s never for long enough. I really miss the west coast.

Where would you time travel to: I’d love to see where we are 200 years in the future. I’d love to be able to see what our true rate of technological advancement is and how it’s impeded by socioeconomic factors. And space. I want to see if we’ve made any true headway in human spaceflight. 200 years is a short enough time to compare it with where we are now and how our current technology has evolved. It would be fascinating to go further, thousands of years into the future, but it wouldn’t be relatable. 

The first thing you would do with lottery money: Pay off my student loans, quit my job, go straight to university and focus all of my time and energy on finishing my degree.

Fictional character you would hang out with for a day: Can it also be in a fictional universe? Because I’d LOVE to spend a day in the Aramax Arsenal Arena with Shepard (I’ve been playing ME3 lately)

Ok, I admit I forgot about CIV 6; I will play and enjoy it I just don’t get as hyped about it like I do a new bioware game ;_; And I’m still undecided on Sun/Moon

I’ll probably check it out and play it but I’ve just played so much goddamn skyrim at this point I can’t even be excited about it anymore.

Here’s the first one! @thegorilllainthemist requested #7 (their endgame/Trespasser armor) from the Inquisitor Drawing Meme, arted exquisitely by the always-talented and endlessly generous @karininini. 

This is Hal’s post-game armor. In both game canon and my fic canon, after Halamshiral, Hal’lasean (at Josie’s repeated goading) finally agreed to be fitted for custom armor that was befitting of the Inquisitor. It was designed with her coloring in mind, to bring out the purple of her vallaslin and the vivid colors of her eyes. It was supposed to make her look like some ethereal Elvhen dream.

She was really uncomfortable with the idea until they finally showed it to her. It was all Fade-touched materials, mostly stormheart, and it was the most beautiful armor she had ever seen. It was understated and naturally beautiful (”Just like you!” Josie had said brightly) and when she put it on it felt like an extension of her own body.

Hal wore it everywhere after that.

In fic canon, Hal used her newfound orb magic to wrap her armor in dreams of victory and bravery. There is no other armor like it in living memory, though Solas and Abelas recall many more suits like it.

In game canon, she wore it to every event after defeating Corypheus. She had it on when she faced down the Chantry in defense of the Inquisition. It was what she was wearing when she finally found Solas. But she doesn’t wear it anymore. Now that the Inquisition has ended and she doesn’t want to be recognized, she wears simple Dalish armor. The Inquisitor’s armor, glistening and made of stormheart, is on display in Divine Justinia’s reading room. Kept polished and prepared, just in case she needs it.
