DaveKatWeek 2018 Day #1

So due to horrible time management skills and mixing up themes, I’m finally starting to post my sketches for @davekatweek. This is for day one with the prompt “canon.” I think this would have happened at least once, but yeah we don’t have any confirmation on it, so it’s more of a headcanon (see I can’t even do prompts right), but it seems plausible and I’m rolling with it. I will probably turn it into an actual drawing later with colors and stuff, but I need to get my sketches out.

I drew this with the prompt Headcanon for day five of @davekatweek. Dave is a tol boi and Karkat is a smol boi. I also gave Dave freckles because why not? Also, I headcanon that Dave removes his glasses when he’s with Karkat to make him feel less self-concious and better about his mutation. Two boyfriends helping each other.
