im replaying rdr2 and i just had an Idea™️ for an angsty morally grey arthur fic 🤭🤭
that man LOVES mary point blank period
imagine runnin’ with the gang and somehow reader and arthur start messing around with each other. absolutely no strings attached but reader defffff catch feelings because look at the man. reader will never admit it though cause reader knows that his heart will always be mrs. lintons. and reader has come a long way to accept that
but imagine when he’s deep inside reader, maybe a little boozed up, and he says Mary instead.
and he feels goddamn awful about it and ignores reader for weeks until he can bring himself to apologize and cut off whatever they’re doing
