after a year of procrastinating ive finally done it (ty to @creatortools for listening to my madman ramblings & helping me brainstorm <3)

yo do nawt ask how hipswitch uses his gun

anyway explanations for each after the cut

karmor : pondered making him an alicorn but that felt too obvious … also he’s been mostly said to be nothing really special to look at so being an alicorn felt like itd make him TOO cool… so I made him a unicorn BUT ! maybe he’s like Sunny Starscout where he can turn into an alicorn for a short period after activating his magic … but idk . anyhow I like the idea of his horn/magic seeming unnatural as if it wasn’t originally part of his body to begin with hence why there are markings to make it seem like his horn/magic is…..infecting?his body

hipswitch : earth ponies are often more grounded (literally & figuratively) and practical, and i felt that suited hipswitch . i saw someone say he’d be a pegasus and i almost made him one because pegasi are my favorite and HS is my favorite… but like could robots even fly ? would he be to heavy ? idk … pegasus HS would be sick tho

mamahat : well for one he’d need to be able to write and use stationery quickly and conveniently ofc lmao but for two unicorns are also often depicted as scholarly

(also i thought his cutiemark being slightly different + his magic being a different color whenever Attila is talking would be cool but let’s not discuss the logistics…)

albus : ok albus is a lot more complicated because you could approach a pony version of him in a lot of ways (and for that reason my pony version of him is subject to change)

i made him an alicorn because in canon he has both the ability to teleport (among other things)/magic and wings so like. durr right

but you could also just make him be a ‘pegasus’ and have his magic ability be presented in a way that doesn’t need a horn

but also.how would he use his sword.would he have a sword ?? so he’d need a horn right… to levitate his sword

(anyway this is assuming that this is bvz-but-ponies logic and not regular mlp logic where being an alicorn is exclusive to royalty) (—but he acquired both his wings and magic unnaturally so TECHNICALLYYY hes not an alicorn)

I’ve been debating giving him a design for myself

Since I could never put extra how I envision him to paper…so I just kinda bs this design. I like it (I think) his design was supposed to sorta reflect how visually different he is to Crow and also inspired by Kris from deltarune 😭
