This has definitely been a challenge. I tried to find songs that relate to Kartaelin, his relationship with Atton or the overall story. Some of them just have vague ideas or one verse that applies. Most are more Atton's view of him or contain lines from the fic.

How did you pick your OC's name?
Kartaelin's name is 100% random. I used the name generators in EverQuest and KOTOR II picking and choosing parts until I found something I liked. Nasan was one of the names generated by the KOTOR II generator and Kartaelin came from various parts of names in the EQ generator.
Is your OC older or younger than you, or a similar age?
Depends on what universe we're talking. OU he's 300+ at the beginning of the story so obviously older. Dragon Age and KOTOR II he was significantly older when I first created him, but we're of similar age now.
Any physical traits you share with your OC?
We both have fair skin with freckles on our faces and shoulders. Apples is trying to give us matching scars. XD
Any personality traits you share with your OC?
I don't know that I have much in common with him personality wise other than trying to be kind to others and open minded (he's way better at both). I guess we both have pretty good willpower against temptations (except where Atton is concerned for him).
Any personal abilities/mannerisms/habits/hobbies you passed onto your OC?
Computer savvy! I've built my own PCs, usually learn new programs pretty quickly and I'm the one everyone comes to to troubleshoot everything at work. As a Sephi and Jedi Sentinel, he is skilled with technology both in repair and using computers. It's mostly what he does while in Exile and cut off from the Force.
Artistic ability! In his OU he's a skilled armor smith which he returns to after he retires from military and militia duties. While most of his smithing work is more practical, he does take on more artistic commissions and gifts his apprentice, Sarovanya, with a beautiful masterwork armor set.
Where do you and your OC differ the most?
He's the type of person that people just gravitate to and listen to, where I tend to be ignored and forgotten IRL. He's also much more calm and centered under pressure. Wish I had this man's chill.
What trait/ability does your OC have that you wish you did?
I wish I had his skill with a sword/lightsaber!
In a situation where you existed in the same world as your OC, would your OC be friends with you? Or alternatively, if your OC was your roommate, could you live with them?
He's such a kind, good man I think it would be a yes to both.
If you could give one piece of advice to your OC, what would you say?
Love who you love and don't worry about what the world has to say. The people who love you, your true friends, the ones who matter, will not abandon you and will help you find your place.

Your main course, The DAO Epilogue WIP, covers the death of the Archdemon through the Coronation scene at the end of the game for my Ysmeria Surana and Teagan Guerrin pairing and features Teagan making good on a promise he made months ago. Here's a little snip I don't believe I shared here before.
"Maker!" Teagan exclaimed as he circled around to see the injured warden unconscious on his nephew's lap. His chest felt tight and his heart was racing as fast as his thoughts. Alistair's questions were lost to him. "No, no, no..." He lifted her gently into his arms and held her tight. His eyes stung from the tears forming at the corners as he sat there, slowly rocking her back and forth. "What happened?" he lifted his gaze to Alistair. "I saw the flash and came as quickly as I could..." he trailed off, his voice shaky and about to crack. Alistair reached out and gripped his shoulder, "She did it, Uncle. She defeated the Archdemon. The blight is over." He paused and lowered his eyes, not sure what else to say. 'I should have delivered the final blow,' he thought, his insides twisting at the sight of his uncle so distraught. "Here," Leliana interrupted, relieving Alistair of the healing potion and presenting it to Teagan. "Alistair was just about to give this to her when you arrived. She took a hard hit when the Archdemon went down, but she is a strong woman. She won't be defeated that easily." She rested a hand reassuringly on the Bann's arm as she waited for him to take the potion. Teagan raised his eyes to look at the woman who always seemed to be at Ysmeria's side. They seemed close, and yet she showed none of the distress he and his nephew were clearly feeling. Maybe she didn't know what they knew, but perhaps she was right. He took the potion and lifting her into a more upright position, brought the bottle to her lips, "Come on, love. Come back to me. Please, come back to me," he pleaded. He couldn't stop the tears from rolling down his cheeks as he waited for a sign. They splashed off of her dented armor and onto her fair skin. Try as he might, she was not swallowing any of the healing liquid. He had known all along that the night they'd shared before she left for Denerim may have been their last together, but in that moment it was hard to truly believe that outcome would come to pass. That knowledge did nothing to make it hurt any less. "Maker, is there not another healer here among our allies?" he cried out in desperation.
And some citrus dessert! X3 There is a clothed version as well I shared screenshots of before. Original idea was Atton pinned him in the corridor right outside the cockpit while the whole crew were still traveling together. I've since moved it to the dormitory post game when it's just the two of them and T3, though that could always change again depending on if it fits elsewhere storywise.
