“Does it suck coming here for you?” Karui asks the Hyuuga bluntly. “You’re the girl Kumo tried to kidnap a long time ago, right?”
Was that a weird way to start small-talk with the Konoha kunoichi Karui was to be working with? Probably. Did Karui care or even have an inkling that this was inappropriate? Absolutely not. She crosses her arms and looks out towards the mountainside. There were about half-way to her village. Many stops had to be made so Hinata could adjust to altitude changes.
“Anyway. You’re not gonna throw up, are you?”
