Do you have any brush recommendations? ( I bet you get asked this alot but I'm curious cuz ur lines are so thiiin))

Ahhh thank you! lol actually I feel like my lines were always super thick when I worked in photoshop so I compensated by making huge canvases. Now that I’ve switched to clipstudio for sketching/inking I either just use the default G-pen or the default Dark Pencil (usually turning down the stabilization a little because it’s too high sometimes). I need to download some more brushes for it.

As for photoshop, I love the brushes from Kyle Webster’s brush pack. This used to be downloadable on its own, but now it looks like you need to be paying for Adobe’s creative suit/cloud to get them? The brushes I use from that set are:

Ultimate Pencil Hard (for most sketching and some linework)

Ultimate Rough Inking (nice texture for linework)

Oil Canvas 2 (my main shading tool, just adjusting the flow and opacity)

Gouache a Go-Go (for rougher looking shading, has good texture)

Got a few different asks, thanks everyone for messaging me and for the well-wishes! It’s been a really long year - left a long-term relationship, moved across the country, new job, new situations, new interests. I’m taking things one step at a time as I prepare for new adventures here. :) I felt like coming back to my old art-posting haunts would help motivate me to draw as well.

hi anon, I haven’t dropped the manga! I’m reading (and definitely need to catch up on the anime still... yikes) but real life is absolutely kicking my ass right now. i’m really struggling with some stuff, but.. here’s hoping that hard times will lead to something better.

Ahh sorry! Thank you for sending me this ask! I haven’t been around much on tumblr/twitter/other fandom spaces, most of my time’s been taken up by irl stuff and WoW. I’m still reading the monthly chapters (Pieck is a babe and I adored her this last one) but I’m kind of in hibernation mode until s3 part 2 or the warriors are back in force in the manga. 

I’m considering making a sideblog/twitter for WoW content, mainly because there’s very few of you guys following me who’d probably be interested in that, and I’d rather not clutter up your dashes. If I make one I’ll post about it tho.

HARD AGREE. There's a lot I feel Porco could do for others' character development, and he's got a character arc of his own to fulfill as well as plot threads to follow.

Realistic: We already saw a little of this in his most recent appearances, but his change of heart towards Reiner is a major turning point for him. I'd like to see that expanded upon and watch him become a more caring and less cynical person, mainly in regards to letting his guilt over Marcel's death and his anger with Reiner ebb. He still has some pretty IMPORTANT MEMORIES waiting in his noggin (looking at you, Marcel confessing how Reiner received the Armor) that could be a further catalyst for this. I don't think it's farfetched that this will happen in the manga. I also can see him gaining this knowledge or level of development before his death, because Isayama is a bastard like that.

Unrealistic: fuckin can he and reiner get married already lmao ok to be slightly more serious, I'd LOVE to see a few good scenes with him, Reiner, and Pieck. I want that sit down talk bad, to see him have a real conversation with either of his remaining warriors. I want to see when he finds Marcel's memories after all this time, and confronts Reiner, and if that doesn't happen, what his reaction would be to Reiner telling him about it. I also want him alive, still kind of a hot headed dumbass, but a person that actually has reason to smile by the end of this series.
