hey you know what i'm gonna spend the rest of my life thinking about dean spreading cas' ashes on a meadow near an old windmill. gonna dedicate everything to this bit of information actually

no, but imagine the anguish. imagine the pain dean must've been in while holding cas' remains. like, cas was dead. no-coming-back dead. and then dean had to collect his ashes and then decided to spread them in a quiet, calm place, and a beautiful one, too, because that's how he wanted the last pieces of cas to go. he chose a nice, pretty part of nature; a peaceful meadow, because that's what cas was to him
