Oh what a difference a decade makes! My and my childhood friend’s mains from the first VERY INTENSE piece I did as a tween and the one I sketched and colored like. in the last couple hours ngl I didn’t spend a ton of time on this it doesn’t even have proper lines ok. I got lazy with the shading y’all can see that.
I remember spending ~16 hours on the first one and being SO EXCITED and SUPER STOKED that I’d managed to make something that was, to me, so cool. We printed it out on glossy paper and framed it, ok, it was a huge deal.
It’s interesting to see how my art’s changed over the years and where it’s at today. I’m really happy that I’ve grown so much and excited to see where I am in another 5 or 10 years!
