I am offering Character Pinups and Illustration commissions. The order form can be found >>Here on Artistree<<

Character pinups are quick, do not come with a background and do not have the cleanest linework. They are a set price, limited to 2 characters per piece. They may or may not include shading, depending on the complexity of the character requested.

Illustrations are fully finished pieces, either with or without a drawn or painted background. These have a high level of polish and begin at $150 for a single character and no background. Additional characters are +$90/each. A background will vary in price depending on complexity. Character design complexity will be taken into account when the price is calculated. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to DM me with them.

Reference is required for all commissions - I can work off a single image or a dollmaker screenshot and a list of changes or specific features that need to be included but are not present in the reference picture... I just need something visual to start with.

Payment is done through Stripe and handled by the Artistree platform.

I think it's so funny how we bred JOBS into dogs. I have two shih tzus and they were bred to be lap dogs. All they care about is looking cute and cuddling with people. Meanwhile my grandma has a border collie and that dog needs to feel so useful all the time, he acts like he will pass away if he doesn't have a job to do constantly

On one hand this is extremely fucking funny, but on the other hand, it really boggles my mind how many people punish their dogs for just… doing the thing they were bred to do.

Your husky isn’t “hyperactive”, it’s bred to pull sleds for 8 hours straight and you have it in a 400 sq ft yard.

Your English sheepdog isn’t “pushy”, it’s bred to herd sheep, and you have neither to space nor the herd to allow it.

Your terrier isn’t “nippy”, it’s bred to kill rats and your hamster looks a hell of a lot like one.

Your Catahoula isn’t “mean to animals”, it’s bred to hunt any and all animals smaller than it, and you didn’t acclimate it to your cat.

Your Lhasa Apso isn’t “yappy”, it’s bred to bark at any tiny noise and alert watchmen to intruders

Like Jesus Christ, if you can’t provide an environment where your dog can’t fulfill its literal life purpose, maybe?? Don’t get that dog??? And if you do, maybe know the breed characteristics so you can redirect those traits into more constructive outlets????

Any time someone sees Herschel and says "AWWW I want a Corgi <3" (because he is Very Cute (TM)), I immediately reply: "Do not get a Corgi unless you have a job for it to do. They were bred to bully livestock across the hills of Wales. This is basically a Border Collie that knows he is cute enough to get away with murder. If you get one and it doesn't have a job, it will apply its livestock-bullying instincts to YOU. Herschel's job specifically is to help manage my crippling ADHD, because I don't have a bull for him to micromanage." This gets me odd looks at the home depot but it does get the point across.

When people see Vrtra in all her poodle glory and go "wow shes so PRETTY what a gorgeous show dog!" And opine about how beautiful and lovely poodles are (true) and how they always wanted one (don't), its like... yes they are lovely, HOWEVER, unless you want to learn how to groom the most difficult to groom dog breed, and also have an active lifestyle because they are. Hunting dogs. Please do not the standard poodle. And if you desperately need to the poodle, GET A SMALLER ONE. Hell if you just want a sweet lapdog thats a money sink on grooming costs and daily brushing time, get a Maltese or a shi tzu.

Poodles also give themselves jobs!! Vivi's job is keeping my schedule and she is INCREDIBLY pushy about it. I get my two walks a day and ensure that I at least eat two meals because she won't eat unless I am. She does her job very well.

What's odd is that I've never actually drawn a character in the bunny outfit before, despite it being such a classic. As usual some things worked and some things didn't, but I had a lot of fun anyway which is what matters!

sleep disorders/conditions affecting sleep are no fucking joke man. they're more than just "takes an hour to fall asleep." like yeah that sucks but.

sleep issues can make people sleep all day and be awake all night no matter what they do. they can make people sleep for over half the day every day. they can make people stay up for over 24 hours frequently - and it just goes up from there. being up for days at a time just unable to sleep.

they can make people have a completely unpredictable sleep schedule too. not everyone is capable of going to bed and waking up at generally the same time, or maintaining it.

all this could be more temporary, or it could just be indefinite. like. having to live your life not knowing if you will or will not be conscious at any given time. you can't plan for fucking anything. you can miss almost every plan or event or obligation.

and everyone just hates you for it pretty much, thinking you're irresponsible and lazy.

be nicer to people with sleep problems. they make you physically and mentally feel like shit. they're not a choice.

I have been in my new home for a little over a week now! Very exciting and its been a huge boost to my mental and physical health already. I am also, today, getting my first taste of the rain that this rainforest is known for. It's been beautiful and sunny since I got here... and like 80°F... this is a very welcome change in weather lol.

The fun part about having hips held together with bubblegum and duct tape is that I can fold in half super easily. The not fun part is when walking for a whole day means they are not. Where they should be.

So I have been very absent from everything posting related because of just a whole ton of health and life issues over the last few months (cant catch a break!!)

I am moving ~1.000 miles away next week and while very excited, it also necessitated getting ahead on medications and making sure I would be covered for the time of my move. One of my meds is an injection for migraine prevention (cut my migraine from 15-20 days each month down to 5-10! Which is lovely!). It can be taken as 3 doses every 3 months or as 1 dose monthly, very convenient if you are moving or perhaps hate needles. I do not have issues with needles.

I do, however, have issues with Autoinjectors. They are, as far as I can tell, a medieval torture device meant to antagonize me specifically and make Shot Day a severely unpleasant experience. I don't dread my weekly self-measured and self-administered injections but these things... they HURT! I can administer an injection so much better and with so much less fuss but alas, the medication is autoinjector-only. Horrible.

All that to say I was very brave and cool today while giving myself all 3 dosage jabs and bearing through how bad the stupid things hurt. :(
