Kara is in the Phantom Zone, and the Superfriends force Lena to go home to rest for one night. Left with nothing to do, everything catches up to her and she breaks down crying, overwhelmed by the guilt and fear and anguish of Kara trapped in the place of her nightmares.
Suddenly, there's a tap on her balcony door. It's Kara.
Lena stumbles to her feet and dashes for the door, throwing it open to fling herself into her friends arms, still crying.
"You're back, thank god. I'm so sorry, Kara, I'm so sorry. For everything... please, please forgive."
Kara's arms wrap around her, but the hug that follows feels... wrong. Lena slowly steps away, her system flooding with fear. It's not Kara.
"I am sorry," the stranger wearing Kara's face says. "I am not her."
Lena slowly reaches for the signal watch on her wrist-- Kara won't hear it, but it will notify the Tower. She lets her finger linger on the button, but doesn't press it. Not yet.
"Who are you?" she asks, her voice thick.
The stranger's features sadden. She wraps her arms around herself.
"I have no name," she responds quietly. "But your brother called me Red Daughter."
