He’d waited about ten minutes for a reply, and then decided to hope she was just too sore to lift her arms again, and left anyways. He’d feel bad if he woke her up, it was easy to imagine that turning into a werewolf would be...a little taxing. A rest was probably well deserved.
Selfishly though, Sidney still wanted to see Kat and be able to verify she was okay with his own eyes. At least he stopped and got her a burger, adding a milkshake along with it, and he had to hope that would help make up for bothering her. He didn’t really know what Kat liked to eat, but given the circumstances, he didn’t think meat would be the wrong choice.
Sid had to circle twice when he passed it the first time, but he managed to find Kat’s apartment again, and tried not to look sheepish when he knocked and her roommate answered. At least he let him inside, though it made Sidney wish he’d thought to bring more food. Kat was apparently sleeping, and normally Sid might have left the food and picked another time to come back, but he still felt a need to actually see her, and so he rapped gently on her bedroom door, realizing he hadn’t actually seen it the last time he’d visited.
