I know you guys are into rock, but have you seen Kpop Demon hunters? It's soundtrack is really good, and I'm not even a major Kpop fan!

The songs were mostly ok? Like you said it's not really the kind of music we'd seek out but we've heared worse for sure

As for the movie itself, you're gonna get wildly different opinions depending on who you ask.

On one hand, three of us weren't exactly excatic abou the film

While on the other hand, Kon and the groupies seemed to enjoy it so... to each their own I guess?

Movie time headcanons to sweeten the pill of my hot take?

The band rarely ever goes to theaters all together, mostly because they'd rather watch a movie at Corey's where they can eat, drink and smoke as they see fit without anyone complaining

Besides, forcing Corey to sit through anyting longer than 10 minutes (while sober) is basically torture so he's always the one less enthusiastic whenever they go

To cope, Corey actively seeks to get as fucked up as possible before the movie starts

Kin and Laney are the most likely to ask the others to go to the movies. Sometimes Kon too but only if the movie involves kaijus or very big things with wheels

Tween/teen Laney would have killed to secure a movie date with Corey but she's come to realize that she'd be the only one enjoying it

Kin usually goes for sour candies and soda for snacks

Kon is the guy to get a family-size bucket of popcorn everytime knowing full well he's gonna finish it all in the trailers alone

Laney usually goes for chocolate candies and sweets but could also sit through the movie without drinking or eating anything

If Corey gets the munchies he could start biting into the seats in front of him so he always has some chips and various candy with him

If the theater is packed, Kon would sit away from the rest of the band and go towards the back of the theater (he’s aware of how big he is and doesn’t want to block anyone’s view)

The others obviously offer to stay with him but he insists that they sit closer to the screen and get the most of their movie experience. Sometimes he finds Kate and Allie in the back to keep him company anyway

They also go to the back of the theater because Kate too is so tall that if she were to sit in the front she’d get in the way of a lot of people (this is now a tall Kate Persky propaganda blog)

Both Kate and Allie also have a very nasty habit to speak very loudly for the entire runtime of the movie (they'd also sing along if they're watching a musical), so much so that they were also kicked out in a couple of occasions

It's a rainy day at a Grojband concert, Kate and Allie's clothes reacted by shrinking themselves due to the rain and resembled Dry Clean only. They embarrassedly ran out into the house.
