Acid Sunday at Kater
I’ve been looking forward to this a lot. Right when I arrive Mauri administers me a quarter of a trip and the first, biggest wave flushes me thoroughly. I’ve had a week of hiding this week and now I feel like hiding some more. It’s a lot, it’s confusing. I retreat to a corner of the dance floor to write and wait it out.
With Mauri it’s so, so nice. I like him a lot. He’s very wise and fun. We spend most of the night in a corner at the bar watching people, joking around, laughing. Henri comes and looks super nice and gives me two very heartfelt hugs.
Kater is my home among the clubs, my safe space.

Acid Sunday
I just want to sunday with Mauri. But first, work. I spend all day at the cafe and am getting better at everything.
In the evening, I meet Mauri for another Acid Sunday, this time we start at Beate Uwe and try a groovy acid. We realize we’re both vampires and have long interesting vampire talks and lots of vampire fun all night through. I have my new rubber snake Fifi with meet and meet lots of people together, for instance Ulrika, a psychedelic witch from Latvia. We read tarot, drink snake water, dance to Nixe’s snake music, meet more people. It’s now the three of us: Ulrika, Mauri and I. At some point we switch to Kater and it feels, as always, like coming home.

(We decided to take monthly portraits in the Photoautomat together and hang them all in our kitchen. Soon we’ll have a little gallery there.)
