Bernal family, Roaring Heights - #11

Sunset was almost over by the time the game ended. It didn’t matter to them - they still got a long night ahead of them, they thought. So, they went to the nearby fishing park next.

After their hours-long fishing and bonding session, the two ended the day with a dinner, just between father and son. Overall, it was a very productive and fun day. Dominic was able to make Westley open up and tell stories of his life that he doesn’t usually share in the house.

Sunday has been really slow and typical for the whole household. Everyone just stayed inside to do their hobbies.

Westley resumed training on witchcraft, after he got his grades back up again. Dominic and Katherine just spent more intimate time together - mostly playing the piano and flirting.

Weekdays have arrived again, and Dominic ran out of ideas to pass the time. And he thought of a brilliant idea of starting his own garden. They got some space at the back of their home, so why not?

Welcome back to the Bernal family! Many years have passed, and a lot had already happened.

Judy Rogers, the family’s matriarch, has already passed away of old age. The household, friends and the coven mourned her passing, being one of the most outstanding and renowned residents of Roaring Heights. Her legacy lives on through her children - Francine, Alejandra, and Westley.

The youngest member of the family, Westley, is now a handsome teen who’s struggling so hard with his grades. Good thing that he’s not grounded and was still allowed to go to school dances with his boyfriend Hamlet and join other activities. He has the Absent-minded, Athletic, Brave and Snob traits.

Meanwhile, the patriarch Dominic is now an elder and had wed anew after Judy’s passing, a young woman named Katherine Corcoran. Dominic’s happy that his son accepted his stepmother wholeheartedly. Dominic has the Angler, Athletic, Charismatic, Coward, Nurturing, and Virtuoso traits.

After working in the symphony for decades, Dominic finally decided to retire, and enjoy the fruits of his labor in the comfort of his home. Now, he’d be able to focus on raising his son and be with his new wife.

He realized that he barely hang out with his son lately, so one weekend, the two men went to see a game at the stadium.

Sunday has arrived, and for the most people, it’s just another lazy chill day. For Katherine, it meant another visit to the Sudsy Time Laundromat, just within the Beach Drive neighborhood. She got excited talking to the people there while waiting for the washing machine to finish the laundry.

Later in the evening, Katherine and Queen decided to have some mother-daughter bonding time at Varg’s Tavern. Martin didn’t want to go out again, he rather be at home.

He got into the case of wayward Jalopy, which he thought was a pretty small and easier case compared to the previous cases he handled. The case was solved not long after, then proceeded to another case of restaurant politics.

Queen’s getting good at topiary and clay sculpting, and the family received a devastating news of an old relative passing away. It was Derek Jacob, Andromache’s husband.

Nothing much was going on at home during this time, except the kids being all so cute playing uwu :3

Also, Lazlo got awarded the Investigator’s Keepsake by the Roaring Heights City Hall for his contributions to the workforce. I mean, him going out of his comfort zone to get the job done is kinda impressive.

Thebe-Corcoran family, Roaring Heights - #7

Lazlo solved the case of teenage love and told Cornwall, Regan’s teen son, that his girlfriend is not trustworthy and is very shady. He left the park with a broken heart. After this, he got assigned a big case of an art heist, and his investigation led him to many places, like the art gallery and the Dietrich home.

Meanwhile, the kids were spending the end of fall and start of winter at home playing with their toys, including the new treehouse and costume chest that the parents bought for them from their many commission earnings.
