Once in a while, songs get stuck in my head and I keep imagining different scenes within fandoms based on those songs. This idea has been brewing in my mind for over a week, so here you go!
Instead of playing exy, it's the idol culture that was brought over, and the Ravens and Foxes are music companies that train aspiring idols. Everyone's backstory is the same, except it's not exy, it's either singing or dancing. In my head, Andrew did dance in jail, but he can sing if he wants to. He is known for his *very* low voice. Kevin is of course one of the main faces of every music group he is a part of. He and Riko always performed together, and the fans adored them. I think you can fill in the rest.
Then Neil, he was supposed to have a supporting role in the music group, to be there in the background, to fill up another stereotypical role. Until Mary took him away. She forbade him to play exy, but in true Neil fashion he kept on singing and dancing, even when it was dangerous. Especially after Mary's death. (In my head, Neil also gives less of a fuck, he knows he will die sooner than later and why shouldn't he do something he likes?)
Neil gets somehow recruited to the Foxes, there are competitions, concerts, and more. Until we come to the Kathy Ferdinand interview and the song that lead to this all. Kevin and Neil are still surprised by Riko, but when Kathy asks Neil whether he can perform a song (I don't know how the interview leads to this) he says yes. And being the little shit he is, he decides to sing "Your Idol" by the Saja Boys. He knows it's a song originally meant for 5, but he doesn't care about it. With all his persona's over the years, he can nail (hah) every single one of them. And yes, that also means different singing voices. He chooses this song for two reasons. One, he hopes that it makes fans obsessed with him so that Riko has more trouble retaliating. Two, by singing to Riko some of the lyrics, he can get under his skin, aka, Neil is being a little shit again.
While Neil is performing, he is fully on dancing and moving around and at some point he gets near Kevin and Riko, singing to them.
At "I'm thе only one who'll love your sins,
Feel the way my voicе gets underneath your skin" Neil gets really close to Riko, singing in his face. For him it's a threat, for the fans it may be flirting.
"I can be the star you rely on" to Kevin
"Thank you for the pain 'cause it got me going viral" Hello camera
"Your obsession feeds our connection
이 순간 give me all your attention" to Riko again.
And at the end of the song, Neil looks into the public, to Andrew.
"Now we runnin' wild
You're down on your knees, I'ma be your idol" The stage gets dark and Neil books it away with Kevin.
This of course leads to all sorts of shenanigans, but the foxes will get through it as always.
