I am genuinely concerned about Katie Bates. She (and Travis) have surpassed Anna Duggar levels of delusion. They're playing happy little family in a way that is incredibly disturbing, especially this quickly after the big cheating scandal. And Travis is already back on IG doing stories and chatting with people like nothing happened. Even Josh had the presence of mind to stay off socials after the scandals.
And the way she's cutting her family off. Look, I'm not saying there couldn't be something going on. But I get the bad feeling that she's channeling her anger towards her family because she doesn't feel safe getting angry at Travis out of fear that he'll cheat again. And, IMHO, he will cheat again. Call me a cynic, but once a cheater always a cheater.
Well, I don't think you can compare Travis with Josh. Josh his first scandal was that he molested five girls when he was a teenager. Ofcourse they went off socials for months. And then within those months there was a second scandal, he cheated on Anna. So, again, he stayed of socials.
Travis only scandel since the beginning of this year is cheating. Nothing else has come out about him. So I don't think it's weird he is working his way back on socials. Especially since that's a large part of their income. It wasn't for Anna and neither for Josh.
About her family. We don't know anything about what happend in the past or is currently happening. I don't want to judge her action. Maybe hanging on to Travis isn't the best thing but I have the feeling it's better then staying with her family. It takes a lot for a child to cut her parents off. It's not easily done. So I'm behind her. Even if this isn't the best case scenario, it probably isn't the worst scenario
