Happy PRIDE! I’m celebrating with some playing card portraits of one of my favorite bands @theaces! Ever since I heard their debut EP “I Don’t Like Being Honest” back in 2017 I’ve been a huge fan! Their second full album, “Under My Influence,” saw them singing explicitly about girls for the first time with songs like their queer-longing anthem “Kelly.” I love their sound, I love how genuine and relatable their music is, I’m inspired by their talent, and I’m so excited that the first post-lockdown tickets I purchased are to see them in December! First up in this series is guitarist @katie_hendyy . She’s so friggin’ talented!
