A variation on my submission to the Dungeons and Daddies Pride Zine! I was waiting until the Zine shipped before I posted, but I didn’t want to let Pride month go by without showing off my favorite Daddies couple, Elizabeth Mothman and Jane Rogan! I love them so much, truly enjoyed their enemies to lovers journey, and would happily listen to more of their misadventures through time!

The official version in the Zine looks different, but this murder/romantasy book cover was an alternate version I considered before submitting the final.

My girl! I loved Jubilee in season 1 of X-Men 97 - the “fireworks girl” went 1v1 with Bastion and rearranged his damn face! I cannot wait to see her evolution in season 2, especially since she’s joining up with Cable’s misfit X-Force team. Less than a week to go!

Sun’s out, guns out! It’s officially summer and season 2 Rogue understood the assignment! Who’s ready for X-Corp and sleeveless Rogue? 8 days til X-Men 97 season 2!!!

Did you hear that sonic scream? That’s right, Siryn aka Theresa Cassidy is joining the X-Men 97 lineup for season 2! Rocking the blue and gold, is she joining up with Havok and X-Factor? Or is the long-time comic book X-Force member going link up with Cable and his team of misfits this season?

Side note, as I was drawing her I could only hear Becky Lynch’s Celtic Invasion theme song in my head 🤣

Exodus is another character who I first became enamored with from their ToyBiz action figure before reading the comics and finding out he’s a badass and kinda nuts 🤣 Clearly having survived the massacre on Genosha in season 1, and seen crossing swords with Nightcrawler in the season 2 trailer, is Exodus back with his former master Apocalypse? Is he a Horseman, or just an acolyte? And where will his allegiances lie by the end of the season? I’m psyched to find out!

Figured it was time to show some love to the big bad of X-Men 97 season 2, Apocalypse! Here’s a WIP of the big guy. I wonder who will end up as his Horsemen this season…

Super excited for X-Men 97 season 2! One of the details I love about the futuristic “wasteland” looks for Cyclops and Jean is that it looks like a Mad Max version of their classic X-Factor uniforms with the giant X’s on them. ToyBiz’s blue and white Cyclops was one of my first X-Men toys, so of course I had to draw this new version of Scott!
