180302: did some readings about cell structure.. a lot to memorize but it’s really cool stuff!! in the meantime pls look at my school’s cute plant-filled guidance office, i lov studying here when i don’t have class bc it’s away from all the noise. it’s also a lovely feeling to be surrounded by the awesome ppl who work in guidance over here.
feburary has just reached its end. it was a great month for me in terms of productivity! i was able to set a goal of having no “zero-days” and kept up with it to the end of the month. it kinda earned me a 98 on my first calc test.. how wild right?! i encourage all of you to make sure you’re doing something each day to stay on track/get ahead in each of your classes, even if you think what you’re doing is quite minimal. small habits can eventually bring great results, so do consider giving it a try. who knows what it’ll bring 🌼
171010 / studied in my school’s outdoor classroom. very peaceful and therapeutic 🌼
So I've finished The Hobbit and am now reading The Fellowship of the Ring and I have to ask....is Bilbo anyone's favourite protagonist?
I ask because I'm liking Frodo a lot more lol. Might be his personality...
It's almost time!!!!
Saying that you ship characters in real life can either be fine and nobody will care or they'll act like you just said the weirdest and most awful thing ever
No one asked but here's my current ranking of A6 songs:
1 SURFACE TENSION 2 WHITE PAPER PALM TREES 3 PIRANHA 4 YOU'RE KILLING ME 5 TAKE IT EASY 6 CLINGY 7 DAY TWO 8 DRINKS ON THE COAST 9 DAMAGE 10 GHOST GIRL ON FIRST 11 ALIVE AGAIN 12 THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR 13 INTRO
I've been revisiting Namie Amuro's entire discography after a long time (rip to no streaming!!!) and I think??? I have an album ranking:
uncontrolled
past
feel
play
queen of hip pop
style
_genic
break the rules
genius 2000
sweet 19 blues
concentration 20
After all these years I STILL can't get into Concentration 20, aside from Whisper and Can You Celebrate (even then I really only like the Ballada version).
Uncontrolled will always be my favourite since that's the album I really liked when I was finally getting into her music (back in the summer of 2012). I think it used to Past<Future before that.
Style, _genic, break the rules, and Genius 2000 are a toss up, sort of. I still have to revisit them properly, but from the number of favourite tracks/songs i tolerate, these are how I am currently ranking them.
S19B is like, just ok... the interludes are pretty pointless and i don't care for the remixes that were on the album (prefer the OG versions).
But yeah, something about Concentration 20 just doesn't work for me. And I think that's an album that a lot of Namie fans really like. Ah well!
