Archon Quest 3.3 Spoilers

Actually you know what Katsuragi x Nagamasa is my new ship. Dying and basically sacrificing yourself for the reputation of someone is a trope at this point and God I love it.

Oh and the Tatarasuna gang are found family period. Also if I didn't ship kazuscara so bad my top 1 ship for scara would be Niwa because damn Niwa is a chad and their story is just so heart wrenching.

Got a Demon on Your Back?

Ômori Hikohichi, a 14th-century warrior, is shown with a female demon on his back. Hikohiki is said to have offered to carry a beautiful woman across a stream. While crossing the stream, he saw her reflection as a demon in the water. In some versions of the story he kills her, while in others she runs away. When the story was adapted for use in theatrical dramas, the woman was portrayed as the daughter of Kusunoki no Masahige, who erroneously thought Hikohichi was responsible for her father's death. The daughter was not actually a demon, but wore a mask to frighten Hikohichi.

As part of my katsunaga (katsuragi x nagamasa) agenda, now that we've learned that Katsuragi is a Wagner body type kind of man I now declare Nagamasa as a Genshin tall male body type kind of twink because

1. It's funny

2. I love that kind of ship trope

Well, isn't today an update spam?

I want to mention this kid here because recently some info on him have been updated.

For the longest time he was listed as Nobunaga's fifth son and that his birth year was listed as 1569, making him only about 13 years old (or 14 according to Japanese age count) when he died. That was fine and all, except that he had one son before he died, and... that was a surprise.

I know samurai marry young, but still. His older brothers don't have children until they're 20-something.

Well, now the Wiki page is saying that Katsunaga is the fourth son and that he might have been born in 1565. The explanation given is that he was the fifth son only if you counted Nobumasa (the mysterious illegitimate child supposedly born in 1554 whose existence and/or relation to Nobunaga is still highly debatable).

The Shinchou-ko Ki's notes also mentioned the possibility of Katsunaga being the fourth son, but didn't say why. The actual text said that Katsunaga was the youngest son when Nobunaga and Takeda Shingen was trying to make peace, but that's not very much of an explanation.

Also. His name was apparently not Katsunaga anymore once he went back home to the Oda family (he was previously adopted/taken hostage by the Takeda). It was changed into "Nobufusa". But everyone still knows him better as "Katsunaga" because it's already so widespread that its hard to correct the mistake. Kind of like how Nobunaga's brother is better known as Nobuyuki even thought his name is actually Nobukatsu (hurray for confusion because Nobukatsu is a popular name!!!).

I love muddles of names. I really do. Buuuut, for simplicity's sake, I will just keep on calling him Katsunaga here.
