Katt headcanon
Everyone expects Keith to get flustered by Matt's flirting and be the one that blushes easily in their relationship. But it turns out Keith is pretty used to his corny flirting and affection and Matt is massively weak to sincerity.
Like Keith is just like "hey Matt, I love you." And Matt's hiding his ridiculous blush behind his hands.
The more I write for these two fics the more they seem like the same thing. Or rather they have the same basic Keith.
In Freedom's Claws is more about Keith and Matt as a pairing escaping Galra control. It's plot with random relationship building episodes sandwiched between more plot.
Keeping Appearance/ Behind Closed Doors is my attempt at writing political fiction with Katt interaction. It's only romantic if you squint. Or so slow burn its almost not there.
I hope they are different enough.. I might post the first chapter of each soon and see what happens.
Behind Closed Doors(sorta working title)
I guess i might as well post about this since it's pretty close to me posting it. I've been making a Voltron AU. Keith is the 4th Prince of the Galra Empire, only recognized as a prince due to his ability to sense and manipulate quintessence. Looked down upon as a half breed and a bastard Keith has kept up appearences and watched his back for years. With the capture of a new alien race Prince Keith has gained a new piece in the game. A spy called Matt Holt. Matt Holt had been captured by the Galra and injured by his friend and teammate in an effort to save him from the arena. Unfortunately the Galra knew little about human anatomy and that leaving a dislocated knee along with rough treatment could cause irreparable damage. Crippled and enslaved to a Prince of the Galra Empire Matt must adapt to survive in this new world. Sorta Katt but mostly gen. I don't write romance very well and It'll probably be slow burn anyway.
