12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot

All of Tree’s? Literally all of them? Especially Tate.

But if you want and example that DOESN’T belong to my best friend whose characters interact with mine constantly... I am kind of madly in love with Uzag’s Zibius (far right in this lineup). The world’s awkwardest orc. Bless her.

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

None are like... chronically mischaracterized, but I do notice that occasionally the uninitiated interpret Kye as like... Cool? Collected? Dainty? She’s not. She’s a dorky, socially anxious tomboy who dresses like a tourist shop threw up on her. 

Trout is a newer character, but I sense people may not realize just how awkward and creepy he actually is... Like guys, he’s 50% a pun on the word “fishy” and 50% accidental Kaworu fan-character.

Overall, though, I think people do a pretty good job on their portrayals of my characters! Even the characters I just mentioned.

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?

You’re probably all sick of hearing about Kye, so I’m gonna talk about Kauv this time.

Kauv was originally a guy. And a half-vampire. And Aqui’s love interest. I scrapped that character during one of my plot-revamps because I didn’t like the “male love interest to the rescue” direction Aqui’s story had gone in... but I missed Kauv a lot, so I recently brought the character back from the dead.

Except now she’s a lady. Just a regular human lady who got really lucky and inherited a mansion, which she converted into the world’s weirdest women’s shelter. Which Aqui stayed in during her pregnancy and the first year of Zee’s life. And now she’s Zee’s godmother.

She’s still obsessed with tea and Victorian gothic aesthetic, though. And now she’s secretly-not-secretly obsessed with vampire romance novels.

26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?

Hmmm... not really in any significant way? I mean, I had to adjust some of my Mothcats/Bumblebuns’ designs during the design approval stage, but I’ve never had to like... revamp a fully-established character’s design against my will.

27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?

A lot of my characters were inspired by songs, but the most clear cut example is Tisias who was absolutely inspired by All That’s Known from Spring Awakening.

45. A character you no longer use?

I have a number of characters no longer in use, but lets go with Taunting. He’s uh... a spooky necromancer bird? I dunno, he’s like 900% ~aesthetic~ but he’s cool as heck.
