5 Things You Might Have Known
-About Kav
She doesn’t like canines. Especially Worgens. Kav’s had multiple bad experiences with a variety of different worgen with one being particularly traumatizing. She’s come up with some ways to deal - avoidance, counting, and distracting stimulation of the fingertips - but overall being around a worgen puts her on edge and her instincts tell her to run. Creatures and people with acute sense of smell or empathy can smell/feel this strongly from her.
Blood, wounds, and fighting make her ill. This is actually one of the main reasons Kav has a hard time eating around other people. In a world full of war, stories about battle scars are not uncommon, nor is random fighting amongst patrons of an establishment.
Names and faces don’t easily stick in her mind. Most of the time Kav will remember an appearance or a voice before remembering a name. She’ll come up with a bunch of random nicknames to try to help her later on, but for the most part she tries not to use names when talking to people or about people.
Her surfing has a minor reputation. Kav is known by quite a few surfing communities for her good personality among the waves. She’s fair with wave time and wave sharing and gives pointers and cheers people on without seeming shovy or fanatic. Some say her skills could easily get her some places in competitions, but she’ll never do it.
Drugs, man. Though not a crazed addict, Kav’s still pretty reliant on certain altering potions and plants to get through her tougher days, or when she wants to have fun at a party. Much of the last year is a blur to her because of some particular substances she came in contact with.

Note to self
If you’re gone for 4+ months it might be a good idea to write up some notes about where your characters have been. Suddenly I want to add a lot more depth to Kav’s hiatus than, “I needed to wander.”
To finish off the Tournament of Ages there is always the Wonderlight Ball. I’ve gone to this event stag more than with a date. It’s a beautiful space. I’d love to play this hall on my guitar some time, but tonight all I can think about is the people I have not seen in a long time. I didn’t make new friends this summer, but I feel as if maybe I lost a few old ones. I hope they are well. Please be okay.
Closing Ceremonies! Lots and lots of winners out there! Way to go! I hope we can mingle at the ball; I feel like I’ll be underdressed and I’m really not a socialite.

GIVE ME THE NAME OF ONE OF MY OCS IN MY ASK-BOX AND I’LL ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY:
01. Full name: “Kavaina Tari, but people just call me Kav or Tari or KT.”
02. Best friend: “My forever best friend will always be Horizon, but my best friend I see regularly is Perch.”
03. Sexuality: “Bisexual - or I guess Pansexual since I don’t really care what gender ya are. I do have a preference for dick, though. Just putting that out there.”
04. Favorite color: “Oh I just learned the name for it! Verdigris! It’s that vivid green color of copper when it corrodes.”
05. Relationship status: “I am actually single, surprise surprise.”
06. Ideal mate: Travels often, avoids hostility & conflict, casual rather than romantic, sexually playful, and comfortable with possibly dangerous recreational substances. Shouldn’t pressure for children and they definitely cannot expect marriage to mean exclusivity.
07. Turn-ons: Playfulness, confidence, musical talent, sexually teasing just out of public view, collar bone and ear kisses and nibbles, good beats to get lost in on the dance floor, and when a person dresses up really well unexpectedly.”
08. Favorite food: “Dumplings, fried food on a stick, & pineapples!”
09. Crushes: “I mean, besides my typical Vynix and Perch? Ermm … I don’t think I got any right now. Besides that summer fling on the surf.”
10. Favorite music: “Gods this completely depends on my mood. When I want to party I want deep beats to get lost in. I listen to a lot of punk and keep plenty of record crystals near my player just to rock out too. Then there is this jazz, and man that’s a unique thing of its own.”
11. Biggest fear: “Seeing someone die. Oh! Or breaking my hands. I’m super afraid of my hands being damaged enough not to do what I love.”
12. Biggest fantasy: “We talking sexually or life dreams here? If we’re going the sex route then I want to be on a stage getting stripped by someone for a crowd of onlookers and finally brought to climax in front of them. *cough* If not that, well then my biggest fantasy is to live near the tropical sea with my successful music studio nearby and a bunch of surfer bods as my secretaries.”
13. Bad habits: “Smoking, like everyone keeps telling me, and I suppose the other, more fun drugs should be in here too. I have this problem of forgetting to eat for a day or two, and I binge drink when I’m in a certain mood. Oh! I also will put my feet on tables, talk with my mouth full, and my constant finger tapping really annoys some people.”
14. Biggest regret: “I think the answer to this is about the caravan; even now I regret leaving my traveling family to seek out my possible family in the North. I’ve not seen any of them since and with how many years it’s been and how many wars that have happened I suspect most are dead.”
15. Best kept secrets: “Now this I cannot tell or else they would not be best kept or secrets.”
16. Worst romantic experience: “You really don’t want to hear this story. I accepted an invitation from a friend for a full body massage. We were flirting before hand so I totally wasn’t surprised when a little fooling around came up. His previous adventures in sexual massage must have been with a very different type of person because he didn’t seem to understand anything about where to touch and how to move. I finished him off quickly and have not accepted any messages from him since.”
17. Biggest insecurity: “Uselessness! I am totally useless when push comes to shove. My skills are all decoration and distraction - nothing worth anything when in a pinch.”
18. Weapon of choice: “Throwing knife, actually, though I’ve been thinking about training in something new.”
19. Role Model: “I’m still going with Iloam Blacksong on this one. Who hasn’t heard of Blacksong Records or the reputation of it’s CEO? He’s memorable, visually and in personality, and just going to the same events he’s at you can see his loyalty and protectiveness of those he loves. Also, when he’s in the mood he’s a total hoot at parties!”
