This is why Trump wants Kavenaugh on the SCOTUS so badly. If we allow them to seat this man, who has already lie under oath, and shown himself to be both wildly partisan and open about holding political grudges, we may as well throw in the towel on American law for the next 20 years, or longer.
I feel like to even be considered to be an Associate Supreme Court Justice — you shouldn’t even have a fucking parking ticket on your record.
I made a thing. I was REALLY generous with Donald Trump’s vocabulary, but this is what today’s headlines made me think about.
These conservative SCOTUS justices dodged direct questions about Roe v. Wade at their Senate confirmation hearings — now, they have official
Watch trump’s SCOTUS nominees LIE under oath.
Sen. Chuck Schumer is being attacked for a simple statement he delivered at a PRO CHOICE rally outside the Supreme Court (and he has apologized, despite not needing to), but the hypocritical rebuke from main stream media and Chief Justice Roberts opened the gates to feigned outrage by Mitch McConnell, the President and his sycophants. Their tender ears have somehow survived much, much worse, from President Pussy Grabber, who has repeatedly targeted judges and America's very system of government. Even Jurors aren't safe from witness intimidation and targeting by Trump.
Perhaps Chief Justice Roberts and others who are worried about perceived threats to the safety of judges should have said something when Trump warned that a judge's decision was endangering the country when he ruled against him on immigration. "The judge opens up our country to potential terrorists," he told his millions of Twitter followers, who might have concluded they need to protect the country from the judge.
No, he didn't say the judge would "reap the whirlwind," as Schumer did. That particular threat first came from none other than Justice Brett Kavanaugh. During his confirmation hearings, when he came under fire over an alleged sexual assault during his youth, Kavanaugh made an open threat, just as he was about to obtain enormous power. "You sowed the wind," Kavanaugh said ominously, "and the country will reap the whirlwind."
