I'm thinking they're just giving them a break. It was a really tough year to be a Ballum fan. Honestly, it was a lot. They seem to be resetting them and letting them sort of breathe. I think that's what they're doing? I really don't think that Ben's story is over. I just think it's paused. I think they're not going to focus on the story while they're telling Lola's story. When that story is done, I think they'll come back around to retell the rest of Ben's story. I know everyone is let down by the reunion, I'm actually not, lol, but I think it's because they're still telling it. I don't know. We'll see what happens in the next couple of months. I think they'll be okay. But I am really sad that everybody's so sad. Hugs to everyone.
it just would seem like it would be a big deal for ben to sleep in the same bed as someone else, sober, and finally move into the flat that he didn't even get a chance to live in when they first rented it. that's something i've personally been disappointed by. but hey, maybe they'll bring something about that up at some point! those are just things that seemed like obvious plot points in ben's recovery/ballum reunion to me but oh well. i'm not gonna dwell on what we didn't get bc what's the point
Oh! But one thing I really appreciated it today was when Ben said so calmly to Kathy "I am talking to you, you're just not listening." Because that was one of the major problems earlier this year. No one was listening to him. I really like that he pointed it out.

It makes sense that maybe Ben isn't as enthusiastic about this because it wasn't like it was done for romantic reasons? Hopefully, they'll talk about that part and how happy they are to be living together. But, right now, everything is sort of clouded by Lola's prognosis. Also, I think Ben's reticence with Callum is understandable. It's not like Ben's doubts and fears about himself in regards to Callum have gone away. It's that he loves Callum so much he pushed past them to be with him. They are still there. And I'm glad they're not making it seem otherwise? I don't know. I feel like this is them going on a journey together to work it out. But, again, I might be giving the writers too much credit, lol.
yeah this is basically the first time we've really seen them together since they got back together so there is clearly a long way to go and it'll be a journey that we take with them
Ok not to be that person, but Ben had to deal with what's happened to him by himself. He didn't deal well, lol, but he eventually got where he neededto get to. By himself. I wonder if he feels he can't quite lean on Callum? I know people hate this, but as much as Ben let Callum down last time around, Callum let Ben down too. I think he needs to get there and I think he will. He'll just need time. Or I could be completely wrong, lol. But I live in hope!
i mean he's been dealing with all this trauma by himself for months so it's gonna take him some time to be able to fully lean on callum again, but he'll get there, and living together again is the first step in that direction!
I'm thinking they might kill her on New Years day maybe? Hoping for longer though!

It's possible the seed of the idea came from the experience that Max went through. I can see that happening. Someone on the staff might have gone with it. And like you said before I can see them approaching him to make sure it would be okay.
i'm pretty sure they've said that tom parker was actually the inspiration for it but max's experience was probably part of it as well
Ok so we get Callum asking Ben to move in?!!! Like Callum asks this time!!! I'm very excited in the midst of this pain...😭 I'm glad we get to see that and personally sort of happy that they didn't just move back in together? They have things to work on so glad we're happy to be together but taking it a step at a time.
yesssss and that will hopefully mean more meaningful conversations too!!!! monday can’t come fast enough
