Hi hi kaycey here again!!! Also @99ares I am ready to get rekt okay that's what I came here for xD
Currently sitting in the Greyhound station in Amarillo, Texas while the bus gets serviced and changes bus drivers. We're set to head out about 3:30 AM Central Time. Had a bit of a problem with our bags because apparently it was showing we only paid through to this point but that's not what we did???? We almost had to pay $30 again to get us paid through completely but the manager said we can just have two carry ons and it won't be a problem. So that much is good. We're running behind schedule again unfortunately but there's nothing much we can do about that.
On top of that me and very think we've been getting motion sick from all the riding around. Fortunately, this terminal had a vending machine with Dramamine along with some Advil (for general achiness) so we got some so hopefully that helps.
There's this lady passenger on the bus with us who's soooooo fucking rude I wanna punch her. We were stopped for restroom and walk around break for 40 minutes and she was complaining that the bus driver had the bus too hot. Now, the bus was indeed a little too warm HOWEVER this lady was being an ass to the bus driver. Convo essentially went like this:
Lady: Turn down the heat, its freaking hot
Driver: You don't have to be rude
Lady: Neither do you.
And then the lady was mumbling about calling the driver's bosses on her.
I'll be glad when she gets off the bus tbh. -_-
EDIT: Okay so i was wrong, we reach Boise tonight, not Portland and I just realized this LMAO
We're on our way to Portland, Oregon! I think the bus driver said we'd be there by 5pm tonight and then it's just a matter of riding the bus to Florence. At 2am-5am we were passing through the most beautiful snowy mountains!!! Unfortunately we couldn't get pics of them because it was too dark and even if we could've our dang camera was dead. We made up for it though come sunrise because we drive all throughout the mountains until we reached Salt Lake City, Utah where we stopped while they changed drivers and serviced the bus. You can smell the salt in the air so it was like being on a beach without being on a beach!
We all got checked by security before we got on the bus in Utah. Not the most exciting moment, me and bro were both nervous wrecks even though we didn't have anything on us or in our bags that could be considered a weapon. But we got through it okay!
Also I think I've discovered why me and bro have been feeling so off but I'm not entirely sure. We thought we were having a bad case of motion sickness from all the riding around, which we still could be, but I'm thinking it's more to do with the change in altitude than anything because we both keep having headaches and being nauseous, our faces feel hot (to ourselves) and our ears keep popping. Plus, and forgive for the TMI but every time I blow my nose, there's blood. Like I said though I'm not sure but it's the biggest change we've had thus far so it makes sense. Our feet are also hella swollen from the riding and stuff too and they ache x.x but we'll be okay!
Just a little longer and we'll be in Florence \o/

So we literally just left the bus station and I think we're behind schedule because the bus driver was very late but it seems to be all good otherwise! Here are some highlights from this morning!!!
As of 5am-7am this morning
Our bus driver reminded us of Sullivan just a little! A stickler for the rules but still nice!!
We took pictures of the Mississippi station we stopped in as well as audio since it was a located underneath a train. It was very loud but verrrrrry soothing at the time time???
While in the station, there was a guy video chatting and he was using sign language. I had to keep myself from staring because it was amazing to watch him!
These two kids who are traveling in the bus with their parents are just downright adorable. Bro is trying to get the littlest one to smile at him and I got two from her when he went to the bathroom. ;3
(sis is also a rude lil shit too, nevermind the fact that im the youngest)
Convo courtesy of bro's previous comment:
Me: Youngest doesn't mean the bestest bro
Bro: There's gotta be a draft before the final
Me: -.-
That's it for right now!! We're gonna try to take more pics today to make up for practically none yesterday since all the interesting places we went through at night adfgjkmz
