Okay despite the reason why you're keeping the relationship secret, Kayn would LOVE it
Like, nothing convinces me that he wouldn't love to have you as his little secret, for him and him only to know
He wouldn't even tell Zed about it (which doesn't mean he doesn't know, but Kayn surely likes to think he doesn't)
If you're also part of the Shadow Order, Kayn would be such a tease ALL the time
Like, slightly touching your butt when he passes through you, pulling you into kisses as soon as you're alone in a room or smiling at you like he doesn't do at anyone in public
You have to keep scolding him and reminding him about the secret part, and he always laughs like it's nothing
Still, it looks to most people like you're one of the few people he manages to have a good colleague relationship, because Kayn is a great liar and actor
Now if you weren't part of the Shadow Order Kayn would treat you very delicately, genuinely afraid of what might happen if your relationship is discovered
Regardles, Rhaast would be an asshole on his ear, teasing Kayn about his affection to you. Sometimes when you too are alone he would seen irritated and a little out of it and you would have to talk to him and maybe scold RhaastStill I truly believe Rhaast would like you. Not many people can like Kayn and put up with him (and the Darkin) so he would silently admire you
Kayn is not the type to worry or be overprotective (though he is a bit possessive), but the fact that he can't openly tell people to back off and scare them away from you bothers him more than he is comfortable to admit
And more than the stolen kisses and touches that would be what nearly gives everything you: him wanting to kill someone who hurt you (be it physically or emotionally, doesn't matter)
And Rhaast would so feed off of it, telling Kayn he absolutely should go after the person
They hurt you, there's no reason for them to not kill for it
(One word from you and he'd do it, cruelly. Also secretly Rhaast would get angry too, no matter how much he bothers Kayn about you being a "pest")
Now less about cruelty, Kayn would be actually really bad about celebrating special occasions like birthdays or Christmas, mostly when having to do it secretly and there's no one to remind him of it, so you'd have to be patient
He'd also have weird ideas of gifts and celebrations and, again without anyone to warn him... you'd have to be extra patient then
(The only one he has that could help him is Rhaast... and the Darkin would suggest things like a river of blood from your enemies as a love confession, so even Kayn knows to not accept love advice from him)
