ooh fun win the other day! bought a rug and had to go with a square option as it was the design i liked the most and that size was the only available that would work even if not my preferred. but then the beautiful customer service reached out saying Oops! we do not have that size but we do have these other sizes that you specifically wanted and the site stated was out of stock, would they be okay??. yes please thank you thank you.

yknow i thought the waiting to get the keys was gonna be the worst part. but that time flew. being stuck unable to move in cause there's just so much still to do to get the place ready is absolutely the worst.
i want to leave this exceedingly tiny home where the children refuse to spread out even as much as they can so its just a cacophony of attitude (literally first words this morning was "i dont care xx" to a sibling) that i can't escape from bc moments after leaving for a reprieve they'll find some dumbass thing to have a meltdown over. i cant wait til we move, til they have access to better therapies, and a playroom designed to get as much restless energy out of them. sure itll only be exciting for the first month and then every subsequent request to use it will be viewed as a punishment but still the options! a backyard so large that i won't be able to hear their screeches of joy or anger when theyre playing out there, even with the windows open. achhhhh
loki has been about 45% more active today, and with a more typical appetite and even had the momentary desire to go outside(leashed). yesterday he slept probably 22 hours of the day, ate breakfast as normal(with pill) then didnt eat til like 9p long after typical dinner. so the drugs are definitely in his system. but so far no other symptoms so thats good. really hoping all continues smoothly and that it's the fix needed for his spraying.
finally got to visit the property. still dont have a great scale because we traveled it via car and my brain doesnt calculate that shit lol. but the house is in better care than i expected. definitely lots of work to be done, some to be done immediately, some will take some time and money. but man itll feel so good to do all this labor to make the house work for us
gave myself a horrid sinus attack stirring up all that dust going through drawers, will definitely have a mask from now on. found a fucking 20qs game that still works after mentioning wanting one for months now so THATS AWESOME., some great old paintings and photos to save, and quite a few photos to burn. so much quality furniture and fucking hardwood flooring, although my room and ensuite is fucking carpeted???? damn 70s. the room from my view is gorgeous, already partially a damn meadow of tiny violets with a weeping willow-esque tree. i just wanna get the work done and move in already lol
