they seem to assume that the issue will have been resolved somehow, which is rather odd (people always try to justify it by saying that the androids are an allegory for POC or something like that)
see, that'd be much easier for me to buy in a setting where POC are shown frequently in more than bit roles, the first example that comes to mind is Star Trek, which has always had decent amounts of POC on the various iterations of the show. Also, unless it's really clear, that allegory stuff seems pretty bullshit IMO. (I know these aren't your views, just expressing my own opinions on the matter)
