"IWell, t's nice to have someone you can confide in, ne?" Mei uncrossed her legs and readjusted herself, "Just know that I'm someone you can trust to not say anything." She smiled as she winked at him.

He felt like she was someone he could trust. "Yeah, you're right. I just feel weird talking about those things, ya know? I like people to only see the happier side of me and nothing else dattebayo." The lonely side of him was something he locked away as much as possible, but being able to talk about them never hurt either.

"Well, honey," She placed her fingers to her cheek and balanced her head on her arm and smiled, "You are. You'd best get used to it."

Hands fell behind his head in a rather nervous manner as he continued. "I'm sorry nee-chan... I've just never really had anyone ask me about any of that so its feels weird talking about it, ya know?"

As he spoke her hands found her hips and settled there, "Well, the only thing I can say about that, love, is when it comes to jinchuriki people tend to look at the person as the beast itself. You are you, not the kyuubi. Though most people will disagree." Mei found a chair close by and took the chance to sit, crossing her legs at the knees, "You have come a long way from that, though...."

A more genuine smile appeared as he turned his head towards her direction. "Heh, it took me a while and a lot of questioning to realize that, nee-chan. Guess all the work paid off in the end and it was all worth it 'ttebayo. I'm still not used to people calling me a hero sometimes."

As their pinkies found each and twisted together she placed her head against his, "You start when you feel ready, ne?" The smile never left her lips as she pecked a kiss to his forehead.

He couldn't believe someone was so interested in his past. Azure remained towards the ground, a deep breath taken while he found the right words or where to begin.

"I don't know how it was in your village nee-chan but... I'm sure you know the kinds of burdens we held as jinchuuriki. It was probably the same everywhere... Having the Kyuubi inside of me... No one was really fond of me, especially since it attacked the village at some point..."

She extended her right pinky finger to him, "How about this: I promise not to worry about you... too much." She winked at him and then smiled.

Eyes widened as he stared at the taller female, extending his pinky finger and intertwining it with hers. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to say or even where to start... Gaze immediately fell after the gesture, voice lowering slightly before responding.

"Okay nee-chan... As long as you don't worry. Do you have any questions you wanted to ask at all before I start? I don't really know where to begin to be honest 'ttebayo."

She smiled at his attempt in steering the conversation awry and lightly flicked his forehead, "Dork. Toy might as well tell me. I know you're a big boy and can take care of yourself but still, it'd be nice to know how you were treated back then."

It wasn't that he didn't want her to know, it was the fact that he didn't want her to bother with it really. He'd forgotten about most of it, even though some of the memories from his childhood still lingered from time to time.

"I guess... I've never really talked about it to anyone is all..."

She placed a hand on his head and ruffled his hair a bit. "You can tell me, Naru-chan." Mei hated the thought of his childhood, the bullying not only by the kids but by the parents too. She only prayed they weren't from someone torturing him.

He put the biggest smile he could on. "Nee-chan... I just..." He wanted to tell her everything. She was someone he had trusted but somehow, somewhere inside him... He didn't want her to worry about him. "Don't worry about me 'ttebayo..."
