[English] My introduction to daemonism
[Sorry for my bad English, I’m French. I do my best]
Presentation of the author:
Hey everybody ! I am delighted to see you visit my little universe and to introduce you K-Boo, my faithful mental companion! I'm Ammalie on the net. I am a young 25 years old girl, former student in the faculty of psychology, former animal care volunteer. Converted into workshop animator / organizer and cartoonist on the theme of wildlife.
On a daily basis, I love to read and write various articles, especially when the subject is out of the ordinary. I like everything related to the psychologist, to the strange, to nature. I like to discover new original things, whether it be ideas, music, passions, clothing styles, etc. I am in great love of animals, designer for children, apprentice musician (ukulele). I love video games (craft, management, relaxation, manufacturing, construction, rpg ...) and everything related to "fashion" in Harajuku (Japan). I am very passionate by nature!
My discovery of mental companion:
In autumn 2012, While rummaging on the huge spider web that is net, I discovered, by chance, the concept of daemonism on the “DaemonPage” (English) and the concept of tulpamancy on “Jeuxvideo.com” (French).
“Daemons are mental constructions, imagined beings, a bit like mental companions. Only, unlike imaginary friends, daemons are supposed to represent us in animal form, to embody our inner "we" or our mental voice, they are a part of our consciousness: they are us. Anyone can learn to meet and get to know your daemon… From the moment you have the right technique and you know a little where to go… “
I was immediately interested and interested in the subject, although I did not yet feel the need to have my own headmate.
Discovering my daemon:
I am an anxious and nervous person, but I have never been as stressed as the last months before the BAC. Following crises of panics, ill-beings and worries, I decided to go to meet my inner daemon. After all, such an experience of introspection will surely allow me to improve in my everyday life, to be more optimistic and solid, to be less worried and obsessive. In short, learn to simply enjoy life, without worrying too much about everything ... And it worked!
The construction of K-Boo, my daemon:
K-Boo (formerly Kazioki) was born around the last week in May 2013. He had first adopted the shape of a small ferret. I knew, deep down, that my daemon must be a small mammal, most likely a mustelid. I feel very comfortable with these animals and they particularly resemble me.
After reading some analyzes and other tests on the internet, I deduced that my daemon will probably be close to polecats, stoats, martens and other minks.
Subsequently, I gave it the name of "Kazioki" (which will become "K-Boo" over time), I like this joyful, exotic and singing sound. My K-Boo was taking shape. My daemon was a male, that seemed obvious to me.
After long research and introspection, I could deduce that K-Boo was a European badger... Very probably!
My daemon today:
First name: K-Boo; How is his name pronounced? : Kaye-Bou; Nickname: K (Kay); Gender : Male Birthday : end of May 2013; Fixed: More or less; Most constant animal forms: European badger; Main personality traits: Always happy, fun, talkative, playful, curious and reassuring; Personality: K-Boo is a fur ball filled with positive energy. Always optimistic and in a good mood, playful and joker. He knows how to be satisfied with little and always sees the bright side of things. While I see the world all white or all black, it tends to step back and admire a magnificent universe in light gray. He never gives up before trying. He's rather talkative, he always has his little word to say, his little reflection to do. He is frank but always measures his words, he does not lack tact. However, he likes to enjoy life so much that he sometimes does not think about the consequences of his actions. Sometimes he is a little selfish and boastful, he probably has too much self-confidence. Likes: Mocking people nicely, especially people passing by on the street. He loves trying to make me laugh, especially when it's not the right time. He can say to me "look at this poodle, how ridiculous he looks with his tuft like that" or "listen to this: blblblblblblblbl" in the hope of causing me to laugh (and it works) in the eyes of passers-by. We like to watch or listen to uneasy stuff / cringe together to have a good time then. He especially likes to say stupid things or make nasty jokes. Dislikes: Overly serious people or people who feel above others. He does not support gratuitous wickedness or moral harassment. Favorite phrase: [Probably something stupid]
