I remember as child, this is the only gateway going to Atimonan, other part of Bondoc peninsula and to the Bicol region coming from the metro. Those dark creepy large woods in sight wet and slippery road heading to the poblacion carry an elements of risk. Some locals tell stories of paranormal activities in this narrow road. We call it zigzag road others call it bitukang manok. I used to hear news of accidents, cliff falls and disasters to the vehicles passing this road. Rock falling and landslides are prominent in this area. But above all those stories, I enjoy passing through this road because of the sight, overview looking the vehicles below and the picturesque view of the nearby towns. Some drivers even fear traveling this path due to the curves and elevation minding their old model vehicles. For some its an adventure. Its been a while since i had gone to Casablanca. Here is one of the highest minaret in the world, Hassan II Mosque in Morocco standing at 210m on a sundown. The coronavirus pandemic has irrevocably altered our lives. Hundreds of thousands of people have died all around the world. Millions of people have lost their employment as a result of the recession. Weekend in Riyadh If you've lived in Riyadh for a while and haven't yet tried desert camping, you're losing out. It's a tradition-rich and serene hobby that's at the heart of Saudi culture. Saudi Arabia's beginnings are in the desert. Bedouins have lived in the desert from the dawn of time, as did their forefathers. I have been with this awesome group of 4x4 guys who just want a break from the city. No issue with the heat, good-natured people. Though others may think we're crazy for camping in the summer, I think it's fantastic. Camel Parade Why are camels important in Saudi Arabia? Camels are so vital in bedouin culture and their daily life because these animals provide them food, raw materials, transportation and wealth. Camels in the kingdom are used for milk and meat, though very rare as a means of transport, they are also used in racing. Camel racing may appear weird to visitors of Saudi Arabia, yet it is one of the Arab world's most traditional hobbies. Camel racing extends back to pre-Islamic times, and the custom of breeding the strongest, fastest, and most attractive camels is still alive and well today. This shot is taken in Taif where a flock of camels are trained for their race guided by this handler.
