Ford Laser Carla Zampatti In early 1985, Italian-Australian fashion designer Carla Zampatti worked with Ford to release a special edition of the Laser, aimed squarely at young, professional females. Features were cosmetic in nature and consisted of custom upholstery, an illuminated vanity mirror in the glove compartment, and distinctive red pin-striping over two-tone paint. Colour matched grill and tail-light surrounds, and blacked out cloverleaf alloy wheels rounded out the enhancements. An exclusive "gift package" was also included - a purse and a bottle of "Carla" perfume.
