I don't know what it was but writing has been a lot easier this week. I think I'm slowly coming out of my slump and it feels good.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone's holidays have been going well as well as the weather treating you kindly. It’s been super cold here, -15 degrees earlier.  My apartment unit doesn’t do well with heat and I swear my bedroom is colder than my refrigerator.   Either way, it’s been two years since I started writing and January first is my two year anniversary on Tumblr.  It feels like I’ve been here longer. I’m still writing, the cold is killing me and hurting my hands, but I’m still not dropping Patchwork.  Thank you all for being patient. I hope everyone has a safe New Years and I’ll see you in 2018 o/

It's been a while since I've said anything. Still working on the chapter. Life has been busy. Last weekend I went to my first marathon. I wasn't running but I was there to support someone. 6am wondering around downtown in the city was a nerve wracking experience. I don't know the area and large crowds just make me uncomfortable. Either way, stupid me forgot a jacket so I spent all morning shivering. I was half asleep when I left the house and just honestly didn't think about it. So, I moved from open sunny spot to open sunny spot to try and stay warm. 11am I picked up lunch, wasn't the greatest but it was something. I took an art pad and a journal where I wrote a few pages for patchwork that I am transferring over to my document while adding additions. Almost ready, not quiet done. Well, remember when I said I shivered all morning? Well, I got sick and the last few days really hit me. Coughing, sore throat, sneazy, runny nose...you name it. I've been taking meds and as I write this I do feel better, throat isn't as scratchy, at least not burning. Gonna try and get better before Tuesday. I wanted to go out for dinner on my birthday but I may end up saying home wrapped in a blanket. Neither is a bad choice honestly.

I’ve been writing out a new outline for a new story I want to start working on.  Something a bit more light hearted and cuts straight to more fluff quickly. I’m still working on Patchwork, I’ve actually gotten 3 pages but I’m hitting a block on how to progress it at the moment so I’m rethinking how to approach the subject that’s coming up. Maybe I’ll just write both to give me ideas for each other.  I dunno, I’m rambling and thought I’d share that I’m still working on things.

Writing Updates

So Patchwork won't be ready for a little bit longer.  I’ve gotten four pages written.  I follow a writers group and they are having a contest, don’t think there are any prizes but it’s just for fun.  I want to participate so I’ve been working on that.  I am just hoping to have it done on time.

I’ll be sure to share a link if you’re interested when it’s done.  It’s not a romance, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to write and told myself I would once I finished Patchwork.  

Speaking of Patchwork again, I’m sorry if I’m disappointing anyone.  Patchwork was and still is a Reader/Sans fic, and there hasn’t been a lot of Reader/Sans, if hardly at all.  If I’m letting you guys down I’m sorry.  I’m not really romantic myself so it’s been a struggle, but I have notes for things to come and I really hope you’re not disappointed.

These last few weeks have been rough. I finally got chapter 42 out and I sat down this morning to write a bit of chapter 43 as well. My head has been in a cloud for a while. The last week especially has been terrible. I'm constantly sleepy. I lay down and if I'm lucky I sleep for three hours before waking up. Even now, my eyes are heavy but I just can't sleep. TLDR: Sorry for slow updates. I just can't focus.
