Can I have some advice? I was having a bad day today so my vibration went down and usually i just do things I love and it goes back up! This time I’m just nervous I won’t cleanse myself right . Even though I should truly trust myself and do what I want to/feel like. Do you have any encouraging words Mrs. Egg?
of course! i’m happy to help! 🙌🏻
i’m sorry about the low day. they happen sometimes, and that’s okay! we can’t expect every day to be perfect and wonderful. just remember, this too shall pass. your wonderful and lovely days are already returning to you, they just aren’t here yet! 😇
sometimes we get in a funk too. sometimes it takes us a bit longer to et back into the swing of things. that’s okay too! just be patient with yourself 😇💗
and have no fear. fear does not serve you now. your gut, body, and soul will let you know what’s going on and why in due time. perhaps it’s time to tune into yourself and have a little introspection session!
i recommend, first and foremost, to be gentle and patient with yourself. allow yourself to have a bad day. bad days are completely okay- as long as we don’t let them rule out lives! try to find your patience and peace. if you have a hard time finding it, then just show yourself some love.
there is where self care comes into play. i bet your energies may be feeling a bit funky at the moment. just like a plant, they need a bit of care before it can perk up again.
think about some ways you can show yourself some self care.
drawing? showering? listening to music that normally restores your energies? hanging out with your pet(s)? talking with a trusted soul about what’s going on? journaling? affirmations? changing your environment or going outside?
it can be very simple- as long as you feel a bit pampered (emotionally or physically)!
overall, you’ll probably know what’s best for you. i know the steps i take when i’m in a funk are very different from what others might do. that’s okay! find what’s right for you, even if it takes a bit of time!
just keep trying your best and taking small steps towards how you want to be. this can be doing a little bit of work (self care, talking it out, ect) or it can even be recognizing that your basic needs haven’t been met! (showering, cleaning, sleep, ect)
i’m sure your mind, body, and soul each have some indicators for ya! if you’re having a hard time understanding them, than retrack your steps.
have you taken any meds that you have? have you experienced anything emotionally that may be disrupting your flow? are you subconsciously anticipating something? have you cleaned yourself and your space (physically and spiritually)? have you eaten and had enough water? ect.
two first and kinda main steps to overcoming a funk is
identify any slips in routine, the root of the problem, ect
then, start planning small steps you can take, and try achieving them!
definitely try to avoid doing something you know might harm you or make you feel in a deeper funk, but listen to what you are telling you. what does your body need? your mind? your spirit?
if you can’t decipher their messages, that’s okay. perhaps you could address your physical body first.
try picking up around your room/house/space. this always helps us feel better quick! make your bed, pick up trash, dust, add a nice scent, play some uplifting music.
(pro tip: saying little affirmations during this process helps! or even just talking to yourself!
ex., “as i pick up this trash, i pick up myself as well.” “i clean this space to honor myself.” “i guess i’m feeling a bit out of it today, and that’s alright. some reasons i could be feeling this way are...”)
next, feed yourself and h y d r a t e!!!
at this point, you might start to feel a bit better! maybe you realize you didn’t next a spiritual cleansing yet!
but if you do, sit with yourself for a moment. tune in and ask yourself where you need to cleanse yourself, why, and how you will do so. just go with what feels right!
if you’re scared you won’t cleanse yourself right, you can always turn to trusty affirmations! they’re quick, simple, and super effective!!! speaking them aloud helps, but even speaking them in your mind with an extra bit of “umph” can still really help!
and now? just take care of yourself! return to being patient and gentle if you still feel a bit funked-out. this too will pass. no feeling is final.
(pro tip: find some ways to practice some self care! it doesn’t have to take too much energy, but showing yourself that you honor yourself even when you’re in a slump always has beautiful impacts on your soul!)
thank you for reaching out, lovely! i’m glad to have shared this with you!
i hope things turn around for the better quick! take care of yourself!
