probably gonna hold off on posting new art here for a bit tbh, seeing people’s tags and comments was the fun part for me, sharing and being a part of a community and seeing the joy that my art brought others was a very big part of why I posted it in the first place, without that it’s hard to see the point to keep doing it, the cons heavily outweighs the pros now. I regularly get hate mail for my character designs and without any kind of positive feedback to counter that it’s just upsetting and stressful. I’m not leaving tumblr (I’ve been here since I was 12 I don’t think there’s anything staff can do that will actually get rid of me) but don’t have any other social media and I have no intention of making any other social media. I just won’t be posting my art publicly anymore
