As with many of the previous colourways from Kevin Durant’s signature series the latest KD 8 represents something that holds a special place in his heart.

This colourway comes with Wolf Grey on the majority of the Flyweave upper with Court Purple, Cool Grey, and Blue Lagoon detailing on the outsole as well as on the tongue and the midsole has a dark yellow/gold hue.

Nike Basketball 2015 Christmas Collection

It’s the most wonderful time of the year according to the song and if you’re a basketball fan then it looks like Nike agree as they drop 4 very special festive signature editions from Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James.

The 2015 Nike Basketball Christmas Collection, split between fire and ice inspirations, features the KOBE X, KD8, KYRIE 2 and LEBRON 13.

In an chilly nod to the harsh Winters in the Midwest of the States the LeBron 13 “Christmas” features icy blue hues throughout along with Christmas details on the lace lock, pearlescent blue Hyperposite technology and shattered ice-inspired “13” on the heel.

For the latest version of the KD 8 Nike have tapped Kevin Durant’s current team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, colours as the main inspiration.

The Flyweave upper is furnished in an understated hue of Midnight Navy with contrasting hits of Black. Bright Mango accents grace the toe box section, tongue label and slightly translucent outsole component. Whilst touches of silver are present on the ubiquitous Nike Swoosh.
