so today happened

I just watched the Minecraft movie and omg?? true peak cinema also my sister actually wouldn't shut up like she was cackling after all the times jack black said something from the game, she was laughing so hard I cad to cover her mouth several times so people wouldn't get upset. Also the cops were outside the theater when we came out after the post credits scene, like they were ready to kick us out if we chucked popcorn and sodas. Dawn and Natalie are so underrated too, like peak characters for a peak movie. Everyone said chicken jockey which truly felt so magical. 10/10 experience would watch in theaters again.

i was tagged by @medusapelagia and i got a lil brainworm still growing over here!!!

so. undead Eddie, but the unnatural bits beside being alive again aren't at all related to the Upside Down. He's blind (because why not) but he can hear much better now. whatever curse/disease this is, he can transfer by killing something else.

which leads to how the others find him! Eddie doesn't leave the UD, but his little army of undead democreatures sometimes do. they're visibly different and not as instantly aggressive to people, mostly just attacking if they feel threatened. for whatever reason, Steve follows one at some point and finds Eddie's "den" or whatever i end up calling it if i do more. of course, Eddie looks messed up and monstery, and he doesn't even realize because he can't see himself. whether it's his clothes or his tattoos staying or that he still looks human enough, Steve recognizes him. And then... idk steddie happens eventually but that's all i got

Unless you're doing "needs to see moon" type werewolf, "yada yada Russian bunker containing xyz wolf repellant" or "he's on meds to cancel the transformation" (i love those don't get me wrong), he should be turning. We gotta work with this more cmon

i love drawing strange parallels between characters i enjoy... here's old men who did terrible things out of an unwillingness or inability to truly assess their motivations and confront their situation. Asgore Dreemurr of Undertale and Rainhaze of @barrenclan. ignore how i forgot to finish the lines for asgore's beard and only noticed it after cropping and darkening the black lol

Asgore is genuinely one of my favorite characters in Undertale. He's friendly, he's fluffy, but he's also a coward. Why did he keep the "kill every human who enters the underground" thing going? Because he didn't want to confront his people after making that decision. They had hope. He could hope that humans could stay away, right? But they didn't. And now you're here. His fate, and the fate of every other monster, is in your hands. Do you continue the cycle of needless killing, or do you try to show kindness, show them that peace is still an option in that world?

Rainhaze never got that opportunity to be confronted with his choices in that way. He was far too deep into Defiance, and his own idea that dying is like falling asleep. His own death was a challenge to that. He hurt his family. He killed two of them. All for not wanting to face his family, friends, all of BarrenClan after the choices he made.

hey guys remember that "which idea should i work on" poll i did where steddie gods au won? i do. all three of those thoughts haunt me daily but i have not done anything in any of them. woops. i have been trying
