Flashbacks to 'are you my mummy' and 'it's hard being out in the cold', 'you would know all about that', 'I would in fact.'
'Such a lonely child...'
'The timeless child.'
Makes sense that the Doctor has sympathy for it, wants to be friends - beyond being fascinated with the amazingness and beauty of a conscious universe.
But isn't the implication, that 'your' universe is conscious too? (she kept saying 'your' when talking about arguably her own universe as well....weird and striking).
